Ripcord 934
Love the CG cutter, nice touch. Now that would be tough duty, getting stationed there in American Samoa. Amazing shots as always. Cannot believe how many custom objects you two guys modelled. Impressive.

MA330 0
Is there any chance to split the static aircraft into two .bgl files?! I love to see the Hawaiian 767 as a real moving AI aircraft but would prefer to have the small domestic stuff just static. Those small Twin Otters are pretty shitty for bush strips if you use them as AI. Please & thanks!

Perk 76
Why the heck does a Coastie cutter need CWIS? Ex-Navy buddy of mine: "Did you know you have to be at least six feet tall to join the Coast Guard?" Me: "No, that seems unnecessary, why?" Him: "That way, when the boat sinks, they can walk home." Orbxtreme 2,062
Impressive shots and work. I like the fact that some time is taken to include people here, it adds more realism to the virtual scenery, as always.

Tim Harris 1,010
Great shotsn, Iain, Did you notice some animalflow, birds around airports ? Dom I have added in lots of birds just for you Dom Is there any chance to split the static aircraft into two .bgl files?! I love to see the Hawaiian 767 as a real moving AI aircraft but would prefer to have the small domestic stuff just static. Those small Twin Otters are pretty shitty for bush strips if you use them as AI. Please & thanks! The HA 767 will be in the control panel so can be switched off if required, there is actually a couple of custom static aircraft alternating through in this spot (including a custom Navy P8) via our objectflow module

Ripcord 934
Why the heck does a Coastie cutter need CWIS? I was in the US Navy and I got a ton of respect for those CG guys. Those guys are in 'full engagement mode' every day, either dealing with narcotraffic, disaster relief or SAR missions to rescue idiot weekend-warriors from themselves. Good question though on the CIWS. Made think about it, so I looked it up. This is a real CG cutter, the USCGC Rush (WHEC-723), homeport Honolulu (although recently decommissioned in FEB 2015 and transferred to Bangladesh). So it would havebeen logically patrolling the waters of American Samoa from time to time, I would imagine. It is a Hamilton class high-endurance cutter, so it is a bit closer to a Navy frigate in terms of capabilities, I suppose, and would be able to defend itself just fine while it is further away from home shores. Plus they use these a lot against fast-moving surface targets as well (think pirates, drug runners in go-fast boats). Smaller cutters do not have the CIWS air defense, nor do the new National Security Cutters. Here is a nice little demo: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PQxzG3Af9dE So remember the CG, guys, when you are grilling your dogs/burgers today and raising a toast to those that served.
