90% of the cruise was over almost complete cloud cover. Only the occasional gap showed the landscape below...

 It's a very nice route to fly ;)




One of the best routes in Oz in my opinion. Flyable in all kinds of planes, the airports being not too far apart (and Melbourne hosting a wide range of destinations of all shapes and sizes) - and with the enhanced Canberra one really has a lot to see. In fact, I almost spent more time looking at the detail in the screenshots than the flight actually took in real-time...  :)

Nice journey with some excellent accompanying screen-shots. Do you "heavy metal" guys like to fly real world Qantas flight routes with your FMC's in Australia?
