20 miles as the crow flies...

...a quick flight from Elstree to my newest addition (I just had to take advantage of the new prices) - Stapleford Abbots.

Warming up

What? We're already there? Ok...

Came in too high and too fast - so I had to go around

Almost made it to a full stop on the tarmaced part of the runway...

Passing the buildings close to the apron was a tight fit - but I made it.

Looking for a spot to park the plane.

Some minimal cropping - otherwise straight v-keys.

Stapleford Abbots certainly is a nice little field - and I'm sure I'll be doing some more exploring in the near future :)

What a great set of screenies Mallard, very nice. In fact you've sold me on the aiprort, so I'm heading off to Flightsim Store as I type!

I'm really sorry to hear that :D

If you don't already have Elstree, I'd highly recommend that as well!

Cheers

Beautiful shots Mallard ::)  Which plane is this one?

Hi Mike - that's the Diamond DA-40 by Iris. Great little plane for shorter trips like this one...
