Ailsa Craig.

Ailsa Craig is an island 10 miles off the Southern Ayrshire coast. It rises 1110ft above the sea. The granite on the island is used for the manufacture of Curling Stones. The island is also a bird sanctuary especially for Gannets and Puffins.

Loch Maberry and Loch Dornal have the B7027 passing between them.

Nice shots, If I remember correctly I believe I was able to see it from Turnberry.

Nice snaps. I love the paint scheme on that BN-2 Islander. Screenshot 4 is my favorite out of this set.

You'll need to go back with an amphibian and grab that poor guy, shouldn't be stranded on a rock.  :D

If you were to climb Merrick (the highest mountain in Galloway) on a clear day you can spot Ailsa Craig quite easily.
