Late afternoon at the seaside

Recommended Posts

Just a little tour at the shore of the North Sea from Great Yarmouth (EGSD) to Clacton (EGSQ). It's an unspectacular but nevertheless a scenic area.

Short after the takeoff from Great Yarmouth. The weather was OK, just light rain.

The weather is getting worse. Dense fog near Clacton

Fortunately, it was just a small bank of fog.

I have come back to this area when the weather is better.

I hope you enjoyed the pics from this little trip. Thanks for looking.

Shitty weather (I have just been at 30°C in Northern Territory), but a nice tour, with interesting scenery!

Very nice flight....bad luck with the dodgy weather there at the end....not to be unexpected in that part of the world, though.

Thanks Stig. Yes, you are right. Fog can happen at the North Sea. ::)

Enjoyed the set Karsten. Thanks for posting :)

Thank you . Thats highlighted an area I haven't been too yet . Interesting shots of the scenery . I'll have to do it sometime.

Outstanding shots once again Karsten, looks like a great place to fly !!

Adam

Great shots again Karsten

Thanks a lot for your kind comments guys. When you look at the Google Earth file of ENG, it seems that there is nothing spectacular, but the area is really worth a visit.

These shots are very much England all over. The way you have captured them is just perfect :)

Thanks a lot John. I visited England once more than 15 years ago in summer. Back then, the weather was very sunny and warm. ::)

Don't think I can remember hearing the words England, summer and warm said together before. :P
