The longer these travel bans last, the more I long to return to Australia. At least, I can do this virtually. And I had my last plane parked in a good place to continue: Ready to leave...

A little view of Borneo (this flight will surely be repeated with OLC Asia).

Traffic, traffic.

Timor already looks interesting, the mesh helps a lot.

Now the next continent shows up, with Melville Island ahead.

A first view to Cox peninsula, while already descending.

And here is the proof: Darwin was right!

Full brakes on an airport just slightly upgraded with OZx.

Sorry I had to choose Jetstar, but I could not find a Silk Air livery for the AeroBus - and it would have been fictional, as they only use 737s for this route (MI801, Singapore-Darwin, 08:45 - 14:45).

Another beautiful trip and shots Gerold. Suggest some hearty fair for your passengers. The Mule Team can deliver all the Fish Haggis you'll ever need:wacko:. Goes down really well with a healthy swig of Budweiser:P:D. Cheers k.

Looks like it a good flight and your shots were super.

Thank you John. Just between short and long haul, and indeed a distance to show the difference in cabin service between good and bad airlines.

Thanks for the suggestions Karl. I think the healthy Buds really fit well to that temperature zones, but I am not so sure with the Fish Haggis. At least ya may drop it in the rivers near Darwin, it would make a great show.

Very very nice mate, doesn't Ants YPDN work in P3D?

Yes it does, TT. As you can see even the GSX jetways fit. Still quite a difference from a payware airport, but a good touch of it.

Fine set Gerold. Make sure you drop into Tweed for a beer when you can travel. (Don't bring your basketball, I'm crap)

Cheers

Graeme :)

Thanks Graeme. It is good to have such a "to-visit" list prepared, and I´ll put it onto it! Just a little detour from charming Brisvegas...

Nothing quite like a virtual trip when a real one is out of reach atm!  Glad you were able to get away from the daily humdrum and pass along some quality pics too! :D
