John Heaton 669
Why is it that I seem to be seeing a whole load of "NEWBIES" ? I'm sure that Nick - Doug and Jon have noticed it as well - Would it have something to do with Orbx etc. being quick off the mark with stuff for MSFS - which - with well over 1 Million downloads - has increased the potential Market for new Orbx customers. I also noticed a number of them already had quite a few Orbx P3D addons as well and yet they were classified as newbies - where have they been hiding ?

PiotrMKG 128
I’m playing sim games since 1998, using Orbx addons since Prepar3D v2 but registered on this forum maybe a month ago.
B12 84
Forum newbie here, but been a flight sim enthusiast a good 30 years at least now, started on Amiga 500 with FS2. I think MS FS2020 is responsible for a surge in interest in civil flight sim in particular, one gaming forum I visit it was rare to see a flight sim topic, but since release and even in anticipation of its release, MS FS2020 has been a hot topic to this day. Hardware peripherals and controllers seem to be enjoying a boost in sales since MS FS2020 too. These are good times we live in FS wise, long live newbies LOL. 6
Fizzelle 330
Well I object to the term "newbie" so far as I am concerned! Even in my youf I was always a wizened old flyer. 1
FBWFTW 15
I’m still a newbie to these forums... But I’ve been simming since 1989. And I seriously can’t wait for Orbx to finish updating their V4 products for V5 (and release KPBI)

MontrealFlyer 6
Newbie here. Kind of. MSFS brought me back. I got so sick and tired of tweaking FSX and having 1001 add-ons of different flavours, I tossed it years ago. Been flying DCS since then, which I really enjoy. But MSFS is irresistible (and no tweaking) and Orbx is the place to be for good add-ons, so here we are in the forums. Just bought "So Fly". Really like it.
