active Texture "Morphing" Problem

Recommended Posts

Hello,

It seems I am getting the texture morphing problem with Open LC NA. I attempted the pinned fix but to no avail. I know I'm short on RAM as some of the more complex sceneries really drag down performance, so that could be my problem. Or am I doing the fix wrong? Or is it something else that I don't know about?

Hello,

welcome to the forums.

Once you have Verified files, for Global Base as well as the open LC products and replaced the lclookup.bgl and terrain.cfg files, you should have

refreshed all of the elements needed to display the scenery correctly.

Perhaps you can run through the topic again.

Tried the fix for a 3rd time and it has still done nothing. I do not have a second lclookup.bgl and am just reinstalling it from my original FSX files, that is the only thing I'm not clear about.  So unless it's that it has to be some other issue.

Hello,

the replacement lclookup.bgl file is created by running verify files for the

Orbx Libraries, after renaming the original.

If you just replace the original, you will not solve the problem.

Ahhh That was not clear.  In the tagged post it has run verify files before replacing the lclookup file. So that is probably it.

My fiancee is using most of the bandwidth for work from home things so as soon as that's done I'll try it again.

Hello,

it reads this way:

Quote

First run Verify files for Global Base and for all your open LC products.

Before posting a support request, please try this fix:

Please try renaming Scenery\BASE\Scenery\lclookup.bgl to lclookup.bgl .off

and then apply this terrain.cfg file fix

Then run Verify Files for the Orbx Libraries and try again
