Just "snaps", but just the same it is amazing to me, what the Orbx magicians put into their scenery.

We miss a lot by flying over it :)

Cheers

Really beautiful ... Not the place where I would imagine to walk around but I was wrong ! Any idea about the green V1 style object ? Modern art or fun ? Thanks Pete for this unusual view :)

I used to be that way, and then I discovered the ground :)

Happens a lot when I am out for my daily walks. We live in the inner city, and I can't believe how noisy all the birds are now.

I'm going to miss this in the future. It seems I have connected with something that was missing from my life from a long time ago.

See you & I appreciate the comment

Thanks Jack . I do too :)

So are you going to show us pictures soon of your woodworking skills and your "turnings" ?

That would be so cool :)

Hi JM

I believe that is a scaled "mockup" of an aircraft fuselage for the fire fighters to train on. Apparently from what I've read, the instructors light it in various ways and then they teach different methods , with different techniques and firefighting chemicals to give the crews real experiences.  It does look a bit worn, but its a pretty important part of their ongoing training

Thanks for commenting.  I'm really pleased you enjoyed them:)

I must say, I love unique shots that show the details of these fine sceneries.   Well done, Pete.

Thanks Pete.  I've done it for forty years, I make chess sets, picture frames, toys, furniture, whirligigs, planes, you name it.
