Problem with FSDG Scenery "La Reunion" et FTX

Recommended Posts

Good morning all
Is there someone who is an answer to my problem that here
On the FSDG scene of "LA REUNION" I have a wall of impassable water right in the axis of ILS 14 and around the island of the chasms in the sea. After having contacted FSDG (supplier of the scene) I am told that it must come from FTX and see from this side.
So has anyone had this problem or the solution to it?
Thank you for your feedback.
Regards
G BARTHELEMY

For more information

I'm under P3DV4.5 and the answerd of FSDG at the same question aubout this water wall is below:

"Hello,

yes, we had a similar problem, it was in our German support forum, I can’t find the topic anymore at the moment. It was a single user who experienced this, I think it was related to a setting in his ftx sceneries. Maybe it’s best to ask the Orbx support for help. It might be related to bathymetry or another P3D setting.

Regards"

Pas de problem ici

I have version 1.2

Please check yours

Now, this how your folders (setting) should look.

You should have a FSDG folder that contain several folders, one of those is a scripts one

4dRV1Hm.jpg

Within it you should have a config_FSDG_REU.xml file

BAhFs8T.jpg

This folder usually installs in Documents folder ( I manipulated mine to install within P3D root)

Then you should also have a reunion Folder:

CCjmHzS.jpg

That contain these folders:

DGY8FhF.jpg

Within the FSDG-Reunion you'll find the scenery and texture folder for the scenery.

In the scenery folder you should have all these bgls

Also in your documents folder you should also find a folder with FSDG Reunion with a xml file ( that adds it to the sim) it should look like this

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>
<SimBase.Document Type="AddOnXml" version="4,0" id="add-on">
  <AddOn.Name>FSDG-Reunion</AddOn.Name>
  <AddOn.Description>THIS FILE CONTROLS ALL CONTENT FOR FSDG-Reunion: DO NOT EDIT OR REMOVE!</AddOn.Description>
  <AddOn.Component>
    <Category>Scenery</Category>
    <Path>H:\Prepar3D v4\FSDG-Reunion\FSDG-Reunion</Path>
    <Name>FSDG-Reunion</Name>
    <Layer>606</Layer>
  </AddOn.Component>
  <AddOn.Component>
    <Category>Effects</Category>
    <Path>H:\Prepar3D v4\FSDG-Reunion\Effects</Path>
  </AddOn.Component>
  <AddOn.Component>
    <Category>SimObjects</Category>
    <Path>H:\Prepar3D v4\FSDG-Reunion\SimObjects\Airplanes</Path>
  </AddOn.Component>
  <AddOn.Component>
    <Category>Texture</Category>
    <Path>H:\Prepar3D v4\FSDG-Reunion\Texture</Path>
    <Type>GLOBAL</Type>
  </AddOn.Component>
</SimBase.Document>

Let's start by verifying your installation is the same, as you should not have any issues then

Please revert after revision

Regards,

Carlos
