St. Elmo's Fire Ngxu Immersion

Question

Posted (edited)

Hello,

I am able to see the cockpit light up from St. Elmo's Fire but do not actually see any of the effects on the windshield when inside the cockpit. If I view the aircraft from outside I can see the effect on the windshield. Any thoughts on why that could be happening?

Thanks

Tried restarting your simulator?

We're looking at an issue where the effects would work properly on first launch (but would work on subsequent)...
We expect a fix tonight.

We added options last night to control the brightness and the color hue of those

Yeah I turned it all the way down. To the eyeball they are thinner and not as bright. Camera I think adds the glow. Just uploaded one of my video's of it. Love the effect keep up the good work.

Alright, we're looking at it, keep an eye out for an update tonight!

Hi, what is the latest version? I'm showing 1.1.97. I downloaded the update but still had no luck. Uninstalled / Re-installed and verified files and still no luck. Same issue as I initially described. Are there any files that I might need to remove manually for a full uninstall?

Thanks

No updates are available. What is the latest build #? It's not 1.1.97?

1.1.101

Make sure you look for Immersion Manager in My Products and not 737 Immersion.

Can you tell me if you have:

  1. An add-on.xml in Documents\Prepar3D v4 Add-ons\Immersion Packages v2
  2. Files in the P3D4\Parallel 42\Immersion Manager\Live\Effects\texture directory

Yes, I have both of those. Like I mentioned before, most ( if not all ) of the other effects seem to be working. Attached is what files are currently in the Effects\texture directory.

Everything looks good in there.

Can you smash the aircraft name at the top of Manager a few times and send the resulting report here?
