Orbx pre-owned FSX products -> to P3D?

Recommended Posts

Hello,

After running FSX-SE for a few years now and enjoying Orbx Global Base, Vector, EU England and many, many other Orbx products in FSX-SE, I am now moving to P3D - now that my issues with the LM EULA have at last been sorted out!  I will be purchasing the Professional Licence at US$199.

I cannot find the answer to this question having searched the forum - but must I re-purchase all my Orbx products again for P3D or can I licence them for use in P3D?

My FSX-SE install remains while I set up P3D and then get to know it, but ultimately FSX-SE will be wiped from my PC when I am fully confident with P3D.   I am a genuine purchaser and I like to believe I'm an honest person so I follow the rules!

Can someone tell me if I can install my Orbx products in P3D ?  Or must I repurchase?

Thank you,

Regards,

Lee

Hello Lee,

if the purchases are shown in Orbx Central as suitable for FSX and P3Dv4, you will not have to purchase again, only products that are P3Dv4 specific :)

As an example. You will have to download the P3Dv4 version though.

Smudger,

Thanks for the kind reply.

So I already have Orbx Central and products for FSX-SE installed and showing.   How do I go about downloading and installing the P3Dv4 versions with the FSX versions still in place?

Hello,

install P3D v4, run it once.

Close P3D v4.

Open Orbx Central, select P3D v4 from the drop down menu that you will now see.

Install your products into P3D v4.
