A different approach

Recommended Posts

I cannot remember landing at LEBB from this direction before.

Not too hard though with the pedestrian Heron!

Thanks Adam, well I installed my forgotten Dove yesterday but I haven't flown it yet.

Both wonderful planes from the 50s that were a common sight in the UK and abroad.

Nice shots Martyn, it even looks like a Heron.

Cheers Jack, just don't frighten it when it is flying overhead!

Super shots Martyn.  You were a little high at the end but good landing.

Cheers JOhn, no problem with the long runway and the Heron's sedate speed!

Mind you with my flying it sometimes helps to be smoking on something "special!";)

A heroic plane, strongly powered with 4 engines - just right for an ocean crossing. If time permits.

Safety in numbers with the multiple motors and don't forget your Kindle with plenty of books installed for that ocean flight!

Cheers, this one came out quite a while ago but one of my many favourites for nostalgic reasons!
