A new approach

Recommended Posts

On a flight from Sequim Valley to Anacortes but I am told that due to noise abatement problems I will have to come in lower than usual and away from the residential areas.

Keeping an eye out for those cables.

Breath in, I am not sure if it will fit.

3.TyqZODd.jpg

Listening out for scraping sounds.

I have new wingtips waiting at Anacortes but I wont need them.

Nobody throwing rotten tomatoes off the bridge at me today.

Apparently this was caused by some clown hooning around in a 763!

That was close despite red lining those engines.

What noise abatement notice!

Bryce Drive looks like a nice peaceful place to live.

That I have done in Anacortes for sure, the green bridge seemed familiar to me, so I was left like... Sequim... I have not tried it there

Thanks for the rectification

Cheers my friend

Great set Martyn, I don't like noise abatement either. I hear the Vulcan has a nice howling sound to it or give the locals a taste of a Tu-95 squadron.

Airliners in particular aren't as exciting these days now that they are so quiet. The 50s and 60s were incredibly loud and the jets also left behind a nice trail which would make some today choke on their latté. I never heard a Vulcan close up but the Valiants which occasionally flew over our house were NOISY!

Thanks for the link and here is one of my favourite YT vids.

Don't forget to turn the volume of your speakers up a few notches!

We've received a complaint from the Anacortes City Council - specifically multiple violations of their noise abatement program.  Be advised we have your FSS number and will proceed legally if required.
