answered Re Installing Scenery Files

Recommended Posts

I just had my PC upgraded so decided to do a clean install of P3D v4.5. This included deleting all files associated with P3Dv4.4 and it seems that I managed to also delete the ORBX folder which was hidden somewhere that I didn't notice or back up.

I'm now faced with downloading close to 50 ORBX files which, A will take a lot of time on my rural steam driven internet connection and B, use a lot of data on my plan.

Am I stuck with this or is there a way that I'm not aware of ?

The ORBX folder wasn't hidden, it was in the main P3D folder. If that folder is gone and unless you saved a backup copy of the original downloads I'm afraid you're stuck with having to download everything again..........Doug
