Did the police stop her for speeding or just for illegal parking?

Always a relief to see trouble ending so good.

Don't know about her, but a pilot from the airport I flew out of, KDXR, landed on a street and WAS given a ticket for reckless driving!

Unbelievable...what a luck that nobody was injured.

She must have practized a lot in the sim with Orbx scenery to be able to land in the mainstreet.

Incredible flying with such a narrow corridor to land in.:)

If she uses FSim she should be used to having vehicles on the runway as I am always running a van or a luggage tug over.:o

Man, that was close at 1:02. Cars need to have "upview" mirrors. ;)

It is funny, that everyone on the radio seems to assume it was a male pilot.

Yep, after saying your fried rice will soon be delivered by a drone, funny how serious the opposition gets.

Hats off to that girl. Great job but I think there was a little help from above. And I would fly with her anyday.

Just saw this.  Dang she's awesome, someday she'll be flying the big jets and won't even break a sweat.  I'd fly with her any day of the week.

All good Alaskan bush pilot schools teach how to time the traffic so you can land on a road in case you have an emergency.

She showed a lot of skill and was lucky that she did not catch a wire.

When I was learning to fly, there was a major road at the end of the main runway.  My CFI several times went through an engine failure scenario that would end with a landing on that road.  He also went though scenarios with landings in fir trees and water.
