Guayaquil, Ecuador to La Paz, Bolivia

This will be an interesting flight, as La Paz lies at an altitude of 4,060 m or 13,300 ft. The plane is the Just Flight DC 8 and the trip has a length of around 3000 km or 1620 nm.

In Peru over the Cerro Bravo mountain range

The Lago Chinchaycocha is with 530 sq km or 205 sq m Peru’s largest lake and sits at an altitude of 13,400 ft

Thanks Bernd, what a unique and different place!  Whenever I h=think of South America I think of elevation, it seems everything there is a very high elevation.

There was no real danger, TTM, as the runway is 4 km or 13,000 ft long ;)

Thanks Martyn, the DC 8 is a lovely plane. It's one of the reasons I stay with P3D 3.4, because many of my (freeware and payware) planes do not work in v4
