"Flying the Bridge!" in Narvik

Wow! Turbulent aircraft aerobatics!!

Well, the head tracking makes things look more turbulent than they really are. It's not like the "dead" default view in FS... I like looking around, briefly, too.

The bridge deck is ~ 140 ft = 40.5 m ASL. Wingspan of SF260 is 8.35 m, so I still have 34 + m when I roll under it.

140 ft x 0.3048 = 42.7 meter ASL

42.7 - 8.35 = 34.35 meter margin left when I roll under the bridge deck, which is more than enough.

Nice... you should get some outside views  next time.

Yes, I would like to, but I would need to record the flight then replay. As I have FSC SE FS recorder is not supposed to work...

So, without recorder, there is no way I do outside views when I fly: it was hard enough; I could barely breath to maintain the level of concentration.

Is there any recorder for FSX SE?

What video editor would you recommend? (So far my videos are unedited; I can't decide on a product; would like something good but that doesn't involve months of learning.)

If you have Nvidia card you can use " Shadow Play " that's what I use now.

When I was using FSX, I used a program called FRAPS for my recording.

I do all my editing using " Window  Moviemaker "  it's free and works fine for me.  I can think one day I will look into another editing tool, but for now, I am happy.

...hope to see some cool outside views coming in the future. :)

FSRobert,

Well, for outside views, I can't fly aerobatics that close to things in outside view. I would need to fly in the cockpit, while recording the fight, like we could with FS recorder in FSX. But FS recorder is not supposed to work with FSX SE. Then replay the flight in FS, and record the video.

I do use Shadow Play.

As I do record in 1440p, Movie Player can play the file: up to 1080p, so no picture, only sound! So I doubt  Window  Moviemaker will manage 1440 p either.
