I couldn't find any references to any Kiwi Winjeels, so I made one up! Regular viewers will spot the uncanny resemblance to the NZ Warbirds T-6 Harvard!

I do so love my little yellow aeroplanes .

As soon as I think I've debugged it properly, I'll upload the livery to OzX.

Looks interesting. As far as I can see there were two Winjeels in NZ... I can find decent pictures of only one of them, however

And here is one more pic

Certainly nothing in an all-yellow scheme

Cheers

Nice find! I found a few similar ones - but, like the ones you found, they were all Australian aircraft (but being flown in NZ). I'm not sure they ever operated in NZ when they were "current", so to speak <??>.

I suppose I could just do ZK-WJL. It may not be truly "authentic" but at least it's a real aircraft!

Don't hesitate! It would be fun to own another Winjeel than a Ozzie one...

Always amazing Adam but sometimes I wonder if you don't fly around there for real and take real photos.  Like the first one, it looks too real for a sim.  I fly there a lot now because I'm hooked on NZ but my trees are never so clear as yours.  Just astonishing shots man.  Really great!  And that is, as my wife says, "a cute little plane."
