Touring around Corpus Christi

Recommended Posts

Let me take you for a little weekend tour around Corpus Christi, Texas. Starting towards downtown...

... and along the waterfront, with very good vector data.

A bit more detail to come, once the full-fat region "USA Central South" is being set.

Turning north, over the Harbour bridge and the USS Lexington - if you can´t see them here, take the 2nd picture.

Aransas Pass, ...

... and the (missing) ferry to Port Aransas.

Nice beach houses here...

Talking about beach, here it is. Miles and miles...

... but it should be white, not green.

Cycling into final over Bishop...

... and into Water Street Oyster Bar. Sorry no Oyster this time, just the blackened Tuna.

I know that place on Water Street, Gerold, but we never went in there.  Next time will be sure to try it.

Nice photos!  I like to 'fly navy' out of NAS Corpus Christi and NAS Kingsville.

Great set of shots Gerold, looks like you have been there lately, and that last pic gets me hungry. B)

Jan, the RL pictures are one year old, you see I have desperately been waiting for open_LC...;). Fortunately we do not have FoodFlow here, and even Oculus Rift doesn´t give you the smell...

The NAS Corpus Christi has the special advantage that we have a Sarenado KA 200 repaint on OZx of that airbase.

PS: Here you are, Mark, with a little list of recommendations for your next visit in CRP...:

Globetrotting Gerold strikes again.

Fantastic set of your travels again interspersed with some RL shots.

Just about my favourite fish dish is a Tuna Steak, looks scrumptious.

Thank you, Martyn. I trust you´ll get a good one down in Victoria also - at least if you come closer to the coast?
