FSX Howard 500 flight from Riggins Airstrip (abandoned in the 1950s), then climbing 6,000', then weaving through the 7 Devils Mtns and then dropping 6,000' down to the Snake River into Hell's Canyon and overflying Hell's Canyon Dam and Oxbow Dam before landing at the Idaho Power Airstrip.

Thanks for making this video. Enjoyed it very much.

You bet ... it was fun making it.  The Orbx enhancements make almost any flight enjoyable now because the terrain has become more recognizable.

It's nice Vector adds the dams.

You are so right ...  Vectors and Trees and Global Base  .....  those 3 change the whole landscape.   Then add in some airports for ala carte ....  You might take off from the Oregon strip on the west side of the Snake River called "Memaloose"  and drop into Hell's Canyon heading downstream to Brownlee Dam and then head up east to McCall, Idaho for some good scenery. That would be an interesting trip.  Or from Baker City, Oregon up and over Sacajawea Peak and then dropping down and over Wallowa Reservoir landing at Joseph ( home of Chief Joseph) that would be a good trip.  Always snow up there ... and a gondola ride if you arrive by auto!
