I bet there's still a smoking chimney stack in the middle of Chelmsford! ;)

Wonderful .

I like the  " Breedon Hill " church with the church yard , it's architectural style is similar to a church in

the small village of Morton which has special significance to me .

Looking forward to this one .

Cheers

Karol

Look's great.   Can't wait to see if the Chelmsford chimney has been faithfully preserved in this version

For those of us who have Earth Simulations Alderney and Guernsey, I assume that they will still work OK as long as they are higher than EU England.

You will find Richard has done an excellent freeware White Cliffs of Dover and other areas of that part of the coast. Just look in the Scenery addons forum.

First off, thanks to you guys for the efforts here!  Some very nice features being included, and thank you for continuing to support this great scenery!

May I ask whether this update includes any updates or optimization to improve performance in certain areas that have been problematic - for example, the coastal areas near Southampton, or the London city center.  At a minimum, will there be a control panel what was implemented with NorCal and SoCal where items like dock cranes that impact performance can be selectively disabled?

For Southampton, I might do something before the release

The download link at that site seems to be broken.  Or I couldn't find the right one or something.

Click on "Sceneries" at the top, then on the next page click on the title "White Cliffs of Dover" above the picture. That's the link.

Ok, I found it.  But it's ver 1 however with a date of September 2015.  Confusing.  I'll just assume I have the latest.  Very nice pics, will go great with the update and newly purchased England fat.  Thanks for your help.

Cracking VFR additions. Some real classics in there.

Great to see Runcorn has it's famous bridge as I fly from Liverpool quite a lot in sim.

Looks epic. I can't wait for this to be released.

Does anyone know why we don't have Warwick Castle in FTX England. It is a major landmark from where I live. I used to fly round it when learning, but it isn't here. Maybe we can get it in another update

What exactly is "confusing" about it...?

That's simple: a castle or a cathedral need 5 times more effort to modelize than another item but have the same level of visibility for a VFR flight. Therefore, there are generally less castles into a scenery than other buildings

Thanks guys for doing this -- this had to be a lot of work.  Really excited to get the Channel islands in that well-document FTX full fat goodness that we have all grown accustomed to.

Anybody out there that enjoys FTX England and appreciates the free upgrades, please show your appreciation and go pick up 1 or 2 of those payware airports for the UK while they are on sale.  It's about the cost of 2 or 3 pints (depending where you live and the quality of your preferred brew) and you won't miss it.  Skip a pint or two, good for your health.  These guys are obviously plowing their profits back into the business and giving back wherever they can, and these are some damn fine airports to have even at regular price.

EDIT:  Not a paid advertisement.  Just a working schmuck that appreciates good value.

Finally Lincoln Cathedral and Castle for flight sim! So looking forward to this update! Some other Lincolnshire landmarks that I would say should be included is Tatershall Castle as its so close to RAF Coningsby, the other is Boston Stump (St Botolph's Church) as that was such another prominent landmark.
