Well it has been an interesting afternoon. Decided to reinstall FSX on Drive C and use it just for Australia. I will add the OZx airports and use the planes that I cannot fly on P3D, which will also include many freeware favourites. All has gone well so far and I am very happy with the performance. 1 Been missing the Real Air Duke, on of the best planes out there is the piston Duke. 2. Love their contra prop Griffon Spitfire too. Must be because there is no vicious torque on take off. Tamworth by the way, another place I like and have been missing. 3 Real Air's Champion se

Using the Carenado C172N with the Bathurst Aero Club Repaint from OZX website, took a trip from Cessnock to Tamworth, a little over 1.5 hours with 24 knot crosswinds... Goodbye Cessnock be back soon Hello Tamworth, thought I might try Runway 30L seeing as I don't need a long runway for a C172N work time then off to Canberra via Bathurst from Tamworth, might bring out the big boy the Beechcraft 1900D

Still not much time for flying these days here. But I did manage a quick one between Tamworth and Sydney yesterday... More or less cropped but otherwise straight DX10s Cheers Mallard

While Stu is dashing around I thought I'd hop into the 146 again... Here on charter between Port Macquairie and Tamworth Although it was not actually raining at the time of departure, the apron and runway were wet! I was kicking up quite a bit of spray... I only figured out what was going on a few minutes into the flight, when I did in fact fly through a shower. Cropped DX10s Cheers Mallard

4 Shots from tonights flight from YWVA > YPEC > YCNK > YSTW. 1. I believe that rail below me as departing Warnervale is the railway that goes between Sydney and Newcastle, then up to Brisbane, the City Rail Intercity Train uses it to Newcastle stopping at both Warnervale and Wyong, Freight trains use it and the Countrylink XPT uses it to Roma Street Station Brisbane. 2. Until I got to Aeropelican I used visual navigation even though the Centurion cruises at 166knots, 1 of 4 Power Stations (3 were with Warnervale, 1 was with Aeropelican. 3. On Approach Runway 35 at Cessnock

Brindabella's afternoon schedule from Brisbane to Tamworth Gear up Passing over Mud Island Saint Helena (right) and Green Island (left) En route The variation in the scenery on this stretch is quite amazing - going from lush greens to dried-out browns and back to more greener vegetation as one gets closer to Tamworth Lowering the gear Passing over the Equine and Livestock Events Centre (still under construction here) Taxiing back to the terminal Welcome to Tamworth - and thanks for flying
