  2. Leaving Inverness headed westbound for Plockton - near the Isle of Skye. Crossing the Moray Firth to pass north of Inverness. Rocks and heather I see the sea. A Scottish glen. Loch Carron, part of the Inner Sound. The Cuillin mountains and Skye. Plockton's abeam the left horizontal tail.
  3. Westbound from Yakima to Olympia in the freeware Bell 429. Getting pointed in the right direction. The state navaid - we're headed right. beautiful day in the neighborhood. 'Bout 35 from home right here. The state capitol with the communities of Lacey on the right and Tumwater bottom left.
  4. Axonos fine airport for Western Australia's Perth with a vintage 'Ansett' departure.
  5. The Carenado C210, I believe ported by Thranda but the liveries are marginal. Departed Crescent City CA just before sunset. Hello Medford.
  6. Lined up at Old Warden.
  7. Rising abruptly along the west shore of Hood Canal, the Olympic Range is relatively small but quite spectacular. The western slopes are the wettest place in the south forty eight. In the Cowan MD500 (Magnum style) we depart Port Angeles on the north side of the range. Vancouver Island B.C. distant in the background. Starting into the northern foothills. Following the Elwha River upstream. This river, under various names, crosses the entire range. As the terrain rises, so must we or become a small pile of scrap metal blighting the scenery.
  8. This plus 'Broome' are my Orbx Australian mainstays for XP11.
  9. To call this a rock is an understatement. Lots of scenic villages though - even an airport. Believe it or not there's a runway back there. All uphill on this side - downhill on the other. Looking across to Tenerife. Here's where the engine starts sounding a bit funny.
  10. The default C172 abeam San Diego -default clouds and TE SoCal.
  11. Home to alligators, pythons, cottonmouth and others in the 'mans lesser friends' group. Basically all of Florida south of US41 (the original alligator alley) is 'glades. Using the freeware Bell429 for this trip.
  12. Broome to narrow it down - in the Cowan MD500E. Lift off on the General Aviation side. Headed for the beach A sailing ship by the sea shore. Beachcombing is good.
  13. Perhaps the most used up DC3 still flying out of Furnace Creek CA.
  14. Evening departure from Glasgow Scotland - headed for Stornoway in the Carenado Saab. Glasgow, while not as busy as Edinburgh, is still busy - most of their freight traffic uses Prestwick, not far to the south. The river Clyde as it exits to the Atlantic. Over Loch Lomond (taking the high road). AP engaged - sitting back and enjoying the Scottish sunset.
