  1. Actually an XP plane first - I've yet to make the big move.
  2. Trying out the mods to the Carbon Cub. Constant speed prop allowing redline on takeoff and 145 mph cruise. Ski area in the pass. Highway's in the center, they use both sides of the mountain. Mt Baker in the background. The infamous Cascade huckleberries. Time to head back - trying out best rate of climb - 60 mph/2500 fpm.
  3. Out of Walter Suttons on a beautiful morning. This is the SMS Beaver (same as Milviz). Bing says this is the 'Swift Creek Reservoir' - St Helens on the left and Adams on the right. Poor St Helens missing her hat. Mr Big - Rainier.
  4. So I was perusing 'Central' and noted this "TE Washington HD enhanced" - autogen, textures etc (less than $10) so what the hey. Off Auburn northbound to the city. Seatac tower cleared me for a low approach 34 right. "Sitting on the dock of the bay". The big city.
  5. In looking for the fix for "kernel mode heap corruption" I realized I may not have my card in the ideal PCIEX slot. My board has three 16/8/4 and, of course, I'd chosen the most accessible rather than the best - so from 8 to 16 and here's a result. Departing American Lake near Tacoma WA.
  6. On a flight from Bellingham to Boeing Field I exceeded the flap speed and Laminar extracted the penalty. Seems like overkill.
  7. KCLS to Mt Rainier - sixty miles.
