  2. This is my first attempt at using the support forum so I hope I'm doing it right. I recently purchased PAVD Valdez along with a number of other sceneries in your current sale. It is an absolutely fantastic addon but I am having a problem with an invisible object on the runway causing the aircraft to crash during take off or landing. It's located on Runway 06 about 1000 feet from the threshold. Other than turning off "crash detection" which I hate to do, is there a fix for this? Thank you Ian
  3. Overflying Valdez airport PAVD in Piper Pacer before landing:
  4. I currently fly around in the gorgeous Aerofly FS2 sceneries, in particular the recent Orbx added area LOWI & NCGX but what I cuurently miss is the HiFi representation of clouds and sky textures when I fly via the FS FSX SE and P3D. See in follow shots how good they can be produced. I hope that in the future I can admire these textures also in Aerofly FS2. A job for 3rd parties like REX and AS ?
  5. Since I recently was able to fix this new airport a couple of days ago so the sink holes were fixed now I can enjoy flying using this scenery (except for a small issue). When using the taxiway I have a real hard time seeing the yellow centerline. It may be my old eyes getting worse but other airports don't seem to be this bad. I used REX 4 Texture Direct and changed the lines to a brighter yellow with a black border but in this scenery they don't show up. Is there a way that I can modify the lines to make them more visible. :-)
  6. My 1st flight with the newly purchased PAVD scenery in FSX-SE . . . JMAAL3 departure and on to PAYA (Yakutat) in the Turbine Duke V2 with GTN750 (x2) at dawn on 04-12-2016 with AS16 and ASCA. Can't get enough of it . . .
  7. This has got to be one of my favourite sceneries form the guys so far. A shame you can't see it for the clouds!
  8. Completely in love with this PAVD scenery. Wanted to show the contrast between two seasons. The colours in summer are incredible. Think I might forget cross country for a while and just practice circuits here!
  9. I rarely post screenshots, I much prefer to look at what our community is doing. Just bought this monster laptop; http://www.notebookreview.com/notebookreview/msi-gt73vr-titan-pro-review-beautiful-beast/ But I couldn't resist this shot at Valdez - straight V key. I am running Prepar3D 3.4.9 with the PTA shader mod, REX Soft Clouds, Navids Sky Set and HDEv2 Cirrus clouds on an MSI GT73VR GRF Titan Pro laptop (i7 CPU, GTX1080 GPU, Win 10-64). All P3D sliders are maxxed.
  10. Quite breathtaking! The airport itself has so many wonderful details ... but here are some of the "natural" wonders! It's a work of art .... Adam.
  11. Hey everyone! I'm very exited to announce PAVD Valdez Pioneer Field, that I've been working on together with Philip Schall the last few months. Valdez, this small amazing pearl in the southern Alaska, is located just an inch from Anchorage and Kenai and offers an amazing landscape and probably one of the most scenic approaches in the USA (guess I will have some people arguing with that ). Valdez, a small oil industry and turist town, is one of the most important ports in Alaska. The town has been through a lot, especially the so called "Good Friday" Earthquake tha
  12. Here are a few mores shots from my travels around Valdez and many other areas in the SAK region. The very last image contains a tanker from the 'AI Ship and Boat Traffic Package' from 'Return To Misty Moorings'. If you haven't already done so I highly suggest heading over and picking it up. Depending on your boat traffic settings it increases real life tanker and shipping activity coming and going from various ports in SAK, PFJ, PNW and of course the must have 'Tongass Fjords' by the FS Addon team. If I remember correctly the shipping and tanker times and routes are based off of real life data
