  2. After my visit for real to some islands of the Canarias, I prefer La Palma for it's variety in nature and the lush green areas. Also a joy to fly virtual now and recognise the landscape in hifi. I made the tour in a Beech Baron and airborned of coarse from it's airport GCLA, enjoy the views:

Well after lots of constructive feedback which is very much appreciated, and a brand new bottle of the "Renault pixie dust" with a very different methodology , what better place to have a morning coffee.   6. Just a few ..... We visited Lanzarote many, many years ago now. A absolutely fascinating place. I remember having a very memorable meal at a restaurant having the most innovative oven I have ever seen. Lanzarote is volcanic, and the heat is still very close to the surface. So the restaurant excavated a large hole about 4 m across and about 20 m deep. There were grills placed at different levels where the meat was placed and a pulley an hook system to retrieve the food when it was done. Just to explain how hot the ground was, the restaurant used a shovel to light
  7. its been about 38 yrs since I was last in Lanzarote. Had a marvelous time, but I imagine it has changed a bit.
