  1. The newest in aviation: Qantas extended their twice weekly service from Sydney and Melbourne to Sao Paulo to Rio de Janeiro, thus competing with Brazilian carriers on their most frequented route. (Source: hoaxnews.net.) Guarulhos. Off blocks. The inhabitants of Sao Paulo are called paulistanos, those of the state of Sao Paulo paulistas. Over the edge. Galeao. The inhabitants of Rio de Janeiro are called cariocas.
  2. In a previous post (Pt1) I took off from Port Moresby in PNG direction Canberra in Australia. In this part I overfly the capital and then land on the airport YSCB in the evening, enjoy the views:
  3. In a previous post the dreamliner B787-9 from Qantas had a visual check at Jacksons airport(AYPY) of Port Moresby at PNG. In this post he leaves Port Moresby and is heading Australia for a landing in Canberra, these shots are for a future Pt2. enjoy: A long flight into the evenening and a sunset-view for the passengers in the seats on the right Approach and landing in Canberra is for a future post, thank you for watching.
  4. Before a flight from Papua New Guinea's International Airport Jacksons Port Moresby(AYPY) to Canberra in Australia, a visual check around the plane, a Boeing 787-9, is performed. Cleared for flight, passengers will boarding and attend pushback for a safe flight homewards: The flight itself is to follow on a later to post serie of shots. Thank you for watching this sequence.
  5. Just flew into Wollongong and noticed the updates ORBX has made to this airport i.e. QANTAS 747 and old terminal removal. Thanks!
  6. Hi all, I'm baffled by the fact that of all my FTX/ORBX airports within Australia, for some reason Qantas domestic aircraft are never parked at the Qantas YBBN domestic terminal. I've checked the afcad for parking, and all spots are correct for QFA & QFAX (just as they are for YMML, YBCS and all my other Aus sceneries). I use UT2, and have triple checked the Qantas scheduling and all is fine - bearing in mind that Qantas domestic aircraft are turning up and parking correctly in all other Aus airports. Anyone have any idea what's going on here
  7. Not a QANTAS fan but I could not resist downloading this freeware Boeing 717. Just right for me , not too many knobs and switches to forget what they do but still enough to make life difficult when landing. It is early morning for a flight from Adelaide to Alice Springs. 1. Lifting off from YPAD rwy 23. 2. Heading north over St Vincent's Gulf. 3. At the head of the Gulf with the Yorke Peninsular to the right. 4. Whyalla on the Spencer Gulf. 5. Everything on autopilot, time to sit back and enjoy the view. 6. Over Woomera. Thank heavens for x16 speed. Only miles and
  8. runway 27 ils antennas in view, lighting towers. the end
  9. I 'Bring It On' via the gorgeous modelled B737NG by PMDG. I choose airport 'Hervey Bay' at Australia's coast to take-off to a (sofar)undefined destination:
