  3. Not so often seen is the GA Beechcraft with V-tail., The V35B. In these shots landing at my first Orbx-FTX Add-on installed in FSX:: KORS at Orcas Island situated north of Seattle-State of Washington.
  4. Hi all, It's been a while since I've taken some screenshots. Thought I'd start my own series, "West Coast Adventures". This will cover all my flying within the PNW. Today was a great day for a short sightseeing trip. Orcas Harbor to Swartz Bay and back. I'm using FSX with PNW and Larry's awesome ferry terminal\ferries scenery. Thanks Larry_R! Prepping the Beaver for a short 30 min sightseeing tour. Ferried the Beaver from YVR Harbor terminal earlier this morning. Left bank after departure as we head towards Swartz bay. Very Busy terminal this morning. Looks like lots of peopl
  5. Hey everyone! So, this past week I was up in Seattle, and my best friend and I, who are both student pilots as well as flight sim fanatics, decided to take a quick day trip through the San Juan islands. We have been fans of ORBX airports and sceneries for the last 5 years or so, and I couldn't wait to explore the default starting location for FSX and my personal favorite airport that ORBX has recreated, KORS. Our trip began at the Kenmore Air seaplane base on Lake Union, where a DeHavilland Canada DHC3 Turbine Otter was awaiting passengers to Friday Harbor. The aircraft was
  6. Here's where I've been spending a bit of time the last few months. Exploring the wonderful new freebies in an ultralight. Got a kick out of looking up this valley which I later found out was actually a "Prairie" A recent thread on Revelstroke inspired me to fly the same. Never flown this area before. Got ambitious and headed east to land at Golden when I came across an amazing sight. Came right over Mount Sir Donald and the bottom dropped out into this valley near Rogers Pass. Looked right for even more jaw dropping. Circled around to try to get it all in one shot. No airports
  7. Orcas airport KORS was my favourite. Now turned back to this gorgeous place, this time to airborn in a vintage DC3. Just ordered PFJ as extension to PNW in order to be able to install the splendid new Stewart Airport and explore 2cm/px. See these as reborn of my postings into this great forum and more will follow, don't be to hard for the possible low quality of current shots compared to the latest postings of so many former and new forum members. By these (re)hello.
  8. En route from Seattle in Cessna 172SP to final destination Stewart airport in one of Canada"s BC-Fjords, I made a stop at KORS for a social visit to some friends, for overnight I rented a garage to store my plane. Before landing I flew over some sightseeing points of Orcas Island. I will try to post every day my progress, bye.
