Time for another flight from LOWI, flying east along the Inn Valley to do some exploring. 1. Getting the old bus ready for the flight. 2. The view from the tower with take off imminent. 3. Following the Inntal Autobahn at Polling in Tyrol. 4. Just passed Telfs and Reitz in sight. 5. After hugging the valley it is time to climb and look for a destination, yes it is one of my typical flights. 6. Not in Texas but just gone past Dalaas. 7. The C-46 Commando was well suited for flying over the Himalayas from India to China in WW2 which was known as The Hump. Some of the terrain was over 16000ft. This short flight is not as strenuous for either the plane or the crews. It is in the Alps and the C-46 can safely fly along at 10000ft. 1. Departing LOWI. 2. Climbing along the Inn Valley with the Wetterstein Mountains in the distance. 3. Turning north with the town of Telfs just below. 4. Seefeld in Tyrol with the Karwendel Range behind. 5. Avoiding Gehrenspitz

This was only going to be a take off from Finkenwerder but I was enjoying the flight so much I decided to motor down to Nice. 1. A line up of very distinctive aircraft. 2. Lifting off for a test flight, Very impressed with the details at the airports I have visited so far. 3. Turning south over Buxtehude. 4. Now decided to continue the flight, passing over Hanover and EDDV. 5. Where north meets south, the join is hardly noticeable. 6. Looking back toward Worms and the Rhine. 7. Lake Biel, Switzerland.
