  1. Hi all, new video (my first in P3D and playing with a few new things) taking the T6 up in the Scottish Highlands for a journey from mountains to coast.
  2. First of my ORBX Scotland posts. First the Blackburn Buccaneer. A superb low-level strike/maritime strike master that kept working long after it's sell by date. Spent a few summers camps up there with the ATC in the 90's and one 2000 and have a lot of friends working up there. My first visit had me in the Bucc rear seat while they tested systems after maintenance and spooling the engine. I loved it and was scared at the same time and the damned thing didn't leave the HAS! Haha! Flew in the good old Chipmunk, Nimrod and Vigilant from nearby Kinloss both
  3. Gone vintage again. Gone Vulcan again. This time an older bird with an important payload performing a QRA dawn transit from RAF Cottesmore to one of many dispersal sites... Lossiemouth... Yes again. It's a 617 (Dambusters) Sqn example. 617 would later be based at Lossie with the Tornado GR.1/GR.1a/GR.4. Which I visited twice as a Spacey (Air Cadet) and one of my sprogs (recruits) would later be an avionics tech for. 617 Sqn will be the first operational Sqn of the RAF F-35b and will be based at Marham. Tried to get that 50's saturated lush Technicolor feel.
  4. Here goes, As expressed earlier here are the same pics but in B&W. Had to play around a lot with contrast and vignette settings. Ta. Lane.
  5. A Fam-Ex for the crew of a newly delivered RAF P-8 Poseidon following on from my Nimrod post. The P-8's are going to be based at Lossiemouth and will take on the Maritime Reconnaissance (and others, nudge-nudge, wink-wink) roll and fill the gap left by the cancellation of the Nimrod MR4 programme. Flight includes a jolly up to Ben Nevis, back up Loch Ness to put it's MR skills to the test, checking the rigs at Cromarty Firth then attacking Tain Ranges before buzzing the visiting USS Nimitz group on the way back to its new home for tea. ORBX Scotland-tastic.
  6. Top heavy with Nimrod here folks. Nimrod from UKMIL using ORBX Scotland. Had two flights in a Nimrod in my time from Kinloss and vomited on both. Very stuff inside and they'd purposefully feed cadets on board and then throw the bloody thing around like a fighter. Their little bit of fun at "Spacey's" expense. Haha! On my last Nim flight we buzzed a few oil rigs off Aberdeen and did a few bumps at Lossie before returning back to Kinloss to put our sick bags in the bin... Recreated that with a bit of artistic license because it was still daytime on my flight.
  7. Short video of a trip from Inverness to Lossie in the A2A Simulations Spitfire..
