Before I left Australia I prepared a few shots to post periodically. This one shows an L-39 of the RTAF taking off from Takhli AFB in Central Thailand, which is the home of Wing 4. F-16s and L-39s are based here although the L-39s will be replaced by 4 KAI T-50s next March. C-130s and DA-42s regularly visit and quite often do circuits. 12. Where I am staying is less than 200m from the SE corner of the base and I am getting some wonderful shots of the C-130 and DA-42 planes as they fly very low over the house.. G'day everyone, I thought I'd head north for a light cross-country flight this week, in an aircraft that has probably seen more hours than any other in my hangar. Skagit to Felts in the classic Lotussim L-39, a lovely cross-country tourer, aside from the need to stop for gas so often! Cheers, Jarrad

G'day all, I've been playing around with P3D some more now that the migration tool is out. I've also been using this as an opportunity to brush up on my hand-flown IFR skills, filing VOR based flightplans and flying them without using GPS or autopilot of any sort. Here's a few pics from a couple of flights I've done over the past couple of days. The first set was taken on a flight from Goheen up to Bowerman in the Cessna 172.
