  1. I have stumbled across some issues in Fresno. Being unfamiliar with the area, I was just curious if palm trees really block the approach to runway 30 and a single tree the approach to runway 12 and fired up Google earth. And to my surprise I found quite a few issues with the way the area is displayed: Well yes there are trees in the approach to runway 12 in real life but in short final of the 30 should be fields instead of the residential block I see that is giving me palm trees that block the approach.   6. Too much to do at home tonight but just managed to have a very short flight from the new KFOT. 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. 7. 8. 9. 10. Just had a look on the map to see where this is and looks like some interesting scenic flights to be had. Many thanks to Turbulent Designs for this excellent scenery.

  12. Having landed at Limberlost it is now time to attempt the take off. 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. 7. 8. 9. 10. A nice bump and then a ramp at the end assisted beautifully, but I don't think the u/c would take it in RL.
  13. I can remember in the early 70s seeing the Ski Jump ramp appear that was used to launch the Harrier Jump Jet into the air. The strip at Limberlost applies this principle in reverse. 1.   14. The Lone Ranger is on a special mission in the Wild West with an important delivery of silver bullets. With his trusty steed Silver, he should be alright or is he? 1. Approaching our objective on this impossible mission. 2. Wheels and flaps down and speed of 100kts. 3. Silver lines up, the Loan Ranger is getting nervous. 4. Its time to bite the (silver) bullet. 5. Touch down and all we have to do is stop a galloping Silver. 6. The Loan Ranger frantically presses F2 to apply full reverse thrust. 7.   15. After a week of installing and testing programmes I decided to have an evenings flying. Thinking which airport to buy all day at work and finally decided on Blue Canyon. After a quick download and install it is off for a flight to Limberlost. Oh boy am I in for a rude awakening. 1. No time to have a close look at KBLU. First real flight for several days. 2. 3.   16. After arriving at Limberlost and having a fly around it was time to try and land. The first two times I overshot after drifting to the right. The next three times I ended up in the trees. 1. Not happy with the approach and overshot lucky not to stall. 2. Another hopeful approach which ended up with the furry Chipmunks in the trees. 3. Here we go again for the sixth time. 4. Thought I had crashed but on viewing the replay I had pulled back on the stick too much and shot back into the air. 5. I was still lined up so I put her down. 6. Much to my surprise straight
  17. The sales are on and one aircraft that really caught my eye was the Flysimware Cessna 441 Conquest. Had a look at the start up video and then was time to taxi to the runway and take off, wiping out a few aircraft on the way. I must watch the next video in the series soon to see how to move this plane without devastating the other occupants on the ramp. Took off and it goes like the proverbial powers.   18. What a day it has been. Very pleased with the pending release of the deHavilland Dove, great news. Decided to buy San Carlos and was thoroughly enjoying it when I decided to check my mail box. Virtualcol Dash8 now for sale. Buy, download, ready to install. VISITORS. Aaaaargh. Well they didn't stay long so after a faultless installation time for a flight.
