  1. Hi, I decided to test San Diego International with the PMDG MD-11, which is quite demanding when it comes to FPS. I did not expect fantastic results, I just hoped it would work and it did. So here are a few shots of the arrival of a Lufthansa MD-11 in the evening... I am very happy with the scenery of that airport. Great buildings, lots of things to see but, with the MD-11 on final, it was not exactly time for an extended sightseeing... With 50 degree of flaps, it lands like a Cessna 150. Well, almost...! There was nice AI activity that night, with another aircraft on final and few aircrafts taxiing. I even had to wait in order to avoid contact with a big carrier. Finally one last view of the airport before I explore the area with something smaller. But since I heard that somebody would create San Diego International, I had promised myself that I would fly the MD-11 in there to test if it was still flyable with todays sceneries. And it sure is! Cheers!
  2. Hi, this winter flight is from Mount Washington Regional (KHIE) to Bar Harbor (KBHB). Now that we have access to nicely designed airports, it's time to discover New England...All the shots are unedited and in FSX, with live weather through FSGRW and Cumulus X. Flying by Bethel Regional (0B1) On the right is Belfast Muni airport (KBST) Smaller lakes and rivers freeze totally. That is well rendered here... Now approaching Bar Harbor airport (KBHB) On base for runway 04, heading 120 degrees. Short final. The Rockwell Shrike is such an easy aircraft to fly. Lots of activity at Bar Harbor today. Since I do not stay for long, nobody will mind my unorthodox choice for parking... I love the subtle effects given by the combination of FSX, FSGRW and Cumulus X. Can't stop looking around while flying!! Cheers!

  8. Hi, what you see is the awesome A2A C182T Skylane in the Eastern Townships area, near Sherbrooke (CYSC) Canada, coming in from CSZ4. I used live weather since, often at this time of the year, you get MVFR weather near the mountains. The weather engine is FSGRW and the cloud textures are from REX Texture Direct with Soft Clouds. Some editing has been made to give it the look I wanted it to have. Only in flight simulation can we play GOD with what the weather will finally look like... By the way, thanks to the person who took the time to develop Sherbrooke for free (I think it is Larry). It really makes a difference when you arrived somewhere and there are people preparing a BBQ!
