  15. Was getting hungry for some fish and chips. Had to make the flight down to Lana's. Best fish and chips in Washington. Of course, I had to take the classic on this traditional outing. A good crowd was hanging around and watching the local pilots doing touch and goes. Enjoy! I did! After departing the fictional Cushman (payware) I was heading for Bowerman Airport. Just followed the roads. Yes, IFR! LOL Trip Info: KMCW to KHQM in default J3 on Prepar3D. All stick using VFR and PlanG. I really did like how the scenery looked in Bowerman Airport, around' the town and the Port! All very distinctive and sharp. Even if it wasn't free, it would be on my hard drive. Upgrading my i5 machine was worth the expense. After you run out of tweaks, it is time to go for more power. The new 970 card is just beyond words. Happy skies!
  16. Back in January a very creative fellow named Roland, over on the Avsim forums, coded a fully functional real-time radar gauge that utilizes 'Active Sky Next's' radar output, the same radar source used in the PMDG 737 and 777. It works absolutely fantastic! I only just found out about it about a week ago and began adding it to the VC's of aircraft that already have a radar unit but only draw clouds, not actual storm data..

  19. Hi! Newbie here. Was wondering how these terrain installations work. I would like to try some of the freewares here: https://www.fullterrain.com/freeware, and was wondering how do i do it. Do you have to pay for a platform and only them get the freeware? Are there instillation instructions on this site?
  20. Hi guys, Am new on here - hello to you my fellow virtual fliers. I have flown MS Flight Sim since the first one. 21. The Freeware page used to have some repaints for default and Carenado aircraft available before the website renovation. Now those repaints are still referenced in the header of the page but they're not available for download. Is there any chance of them coming back?
  22. This scenery is so new that it is "Hot off the Presses" http://aussiex.org/forum/index.php?/topic/20807-user-scenery-fs-creations-hamiltonx-nzhn/ Cheers Brad
  23. First off, let me say that I just recently purchased the PNW region (it's my first of what will I'm sure be many Orbx regions) and holy crap -- it's gorgeous! Wow. Such a great job guys. All the hype & good reviews, etc., are totally justified! Anyway here are my two possibly dumb questions: Do the airports on the FTX freeware page that are in that region (2S1, 7WA3, CBB7, KHQM) automatically come with the region when I install it, or do I have to add those separately? Also, just curious: is it me, or did pretty much every airport in the region (not just the freeware or payware airports, but evey one) get a makeover in the PNW? I didn't fly that much in the area before getting this region so I wasn't completely familiar with most of them, but it sure seems like every place I land is looking a lot better. Thanks!
  24. Thanks Neil for your work, especially for the joy that you transmit on making them! Good weekend to all! Cheers,
