  1. Fellow Simmers, I am fairly new to this simming malarkey, so I have the stupid question of the week. I have C/Drive (XPlane) with 110GB free and D/Drive with 1.8TB free. I have read in these forums that it is possible to download terrain to a different drive to XPlane for it to use. How do you do that?? Any help or advice would be appreciated, words of one syllable as I'm not very tech savvy. Cheers in anticipation. 2. My P3D is in my C drive SSD. But ORBX scenery used up nearly all spaces. Is there any method to put the ORBX products in D Drive HDD with the FTX Central? Thanks.
  3. I have FSX on Steam installed on my C: drive. Recently I got the ORBX Northwest scenery and the Friday Harbor and they installed also to the C: drive. I would like to buy more ORBX products but I don't have room for them on my C: drive. When I installed the Friday Harbor I noticed it didn't ask me on which drive I wanted to install it - it just assumed the C: drive. How can I install (or reinstall) the ORBX scenery on my D: drive while keeping my Steam FSX on my C: drive? Jeremy Order Number: FSS0501662 Order Date: 2016-07-17
  4. Hi, At the moment I am rebuilding my computer with a new processor and motherboard, hence also a new windows. I haven't had FTX for very long, so I'm not sure about the reinstallation procedure, especially in regards to the registration key. Will a new installation allow the key to be used again? Also, does anyone know about the procedure for Active Sky Next? Kind regards, Alex
  5. Hi all I checked FAQ but did not see this answered! I was wonderin'.....' I have 2 SSD drives (C:\ & D:\ and a 1T HD drive G:\ for storage. FSX resides on the D:\ drive, & the Win7 OS resides the C:// drive. I always download Orbx to the G:\ drive after purchase & Orbx always sees that FSX is installed on my D:\ drive. It seems to work fine! Here's the question! When flying around, must FSX "look" to my G:\ drive to load Orbx scenery or is the Orbx scenery actually installed on the D:\ drive? I'm thinking if FSX has to look to the G:\ drive as it loads
