  1. OK, in the next iteration of our Alaskan adventure, we are attempting to fly to the state capital of Alaska! A yellow bus brings the passengers to our yellow-engined airplane. Thank you, Jack! Anchorage is a lot cooler than Atlanta, isn't it? I'm not going to show here how I got lost while I was accidentally taxiing to runway 7R instead of 7L. Instead you are presented the climbout over the burbs of Anchorage. And left turn! Our departure was basically a full orbit all over the city and the Knik Arm.
  2. Just some tubeliner shots, so nothing to get too excited about. I do love the 777, and I should really fly her more. KLM 553 from Amsterdam to Cairo. Left EHAM under a steady rain and cloud cover up to about 9,000 and a solid deck until the Balkans, so not much to show until then. Hand flew it up through most of the SID. She's really smooth, but heavy even with a fairly light fuel load. Finally really cleared up on reaching Greece. I really love flying around Greece (usually in a prop-liner!). I'd make a great region for ORBX.
  3. Spent a morning at Melbourne YMML 17th April 2010(was it really that long ago) before heading off to Tyabb for the air show. Here are a quartet of shots of 2 aircraft from my favourite airline. 1. Traveled many times on SQ's 777-312s. Never been on an ER although I have seen them at YMML. Here landing on rwy 34. My first close up view of an Aibus A380. Up at the far end of 34 as most of the arrivals were landing on 27.
  4. I know it is an easy one! But I could not resist...The real trouble is not to land but to keep the machine stable.
