  1. First, I must thank A2A for this free aircraft during COVID-19. I was already a customer, but this gift comes as a real surprise. The aircraft starts without problem using the book. The lazy CNTRL-F1 procedure does not work with FSX. That adds to the fun. It wasn’t time to do crazy things on the first flight. Just hoping to stay in the air and not damage the aircraft. The landing procedure requests that the cockpit be opened. So, here it is. Gears, flaps and cowls at 50%. Not trying a three point landing on the first trial. Just making sure t
  2. An online flight with PilotEdge.net (best service around!) in the A2A Comanche KAVX-KSAN. Addons used (a lot these days lol) Active Sky, ASCA, Envtex/shade, Orbx Socal + KAVX, Latin VFR KSAN. Also navigating with the always incredible Reality XP GNS530W! Routing is another real world TEC route displayed below. Enjoy! route by Ryan Butterworth, on Flickr Untitled-1 by Ryan Butterworth, on Flickr Untitled-2 by Ryan Butterworth, on Flickr Untitled-3 by Ryan Butterworth, on Flickr A moody sky (I had to stay VFR below until reaching So
  3. One of the most iconic of all "little" aircraft - A2A have brought their J3 Piper Cub up to date for P3Dv4. Here we are on a trip from Picton to (you guessed it ...) Milford Sound: Heidi MkII does PBR!! Adam.
  4. Our "Man of the Moment" Jan Kees Blom has kindly allowed me to post these "Work in Progress" shots of one of his old A2A liveries updated for the new PBR version. Here we are around Whangarei (ORBX NZWR): Aren't they beauties? I mean the *aircraft* LOL! Adam.
  5. Just various shots with the great new Spitfire (Flights over Alaska Bella Colla, Stewart ... Washigton PNW S93... ) Happy that it is possible to use with the new A2A Spitfire for P3D4 the old skins of the WOP3 Spitifire available on avsim ... e.g. a great one in "dark grey" by Steve Landau : Spitfire Mk IIb texture BM144 ... (maybe not as beautiful as the Sniper31's Black Eagle ... but this one is easy to find ) 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8
  6. A quick scenic flight from KBVS, and then onto Orcas Island KORS. 7. In love with the sim, enjoying a lot! Love to take care of this plane! Wanting to learn how to fly like the real deal each day it passes!
  8. So after seeing other shots of the A2A V-Tail I decided to buy it, I really like the quality of this one, here are a few shots of my first couple of flights.....
  9. I find myself enjoying the sights and sounds of the PNW over any area of the flightsim world. 13. First flight in my new Bonanza. I've got no GPS, I'm flying the needles and it's mostly IMC on a short hop from Bremerton Natl PWT to Skagit KBVS in the Pacific NW. My routing was a radar vector onto V165 to ISLND, then from there I shot the NDB Ry 11 at KBVS with a circle to land to Ry 4. The whole thing was tricky due to a monster ssw wind (it was lovely aloft - had a ground speed of 202!!)... I had a crosswind for the entirety of the non precision approach. routing by ryan b, on Flickr Untitled-1 by ryan b, on Flickr Untitled-2 by ryan b, on Flick
  14. Here are A2A WOP3 old warbirds which are all flying into P3D4-2 : over Mt Renier Washington, over Nanthuket, and Australia NB : The amazing skins are from T.Weiss (Lockonsite) WOP3 Mustang Civilian and great cockpit with amazing sun light effects... WOP3 P47 over Australia near Caloudra over Catalina WOP3 P40 over Nantuket WOP3 Spitifire at Swanson 2W3 and over Australia...but engine trouble not solved uptonow
  15. First post here! Snapped these on my flight from KEKA to KMFR in the A2A Comanche 250:
  16. Experimented some more with P3D the last days (who needs sleep anyway ) but taking screens with Reshade didn´t really work out. Got it fixed yesterday added the L-049 and LOWI into my FS shopping spree and took the old lady straight up to visit LOWI. EDDS, early spring day, weather looks promising. Climbing out. She truly is the queen of the skies. Went back for a sneaky shot of the office. And here we go, into the mountains on descend, ILS approach. First sight of the runway, lined up quite fine. Home st
  17. Lightning at Dawn! - St Gallen Altenrhein (LSZR) To Innsbruck (LOWI) Very efficient coding all around here guys! This much detail (FSX maxed out except water) at a smooth frame rate with a complex aircraft (A2A Mustang) in BUSY weather (AS2016) running at 4k res AND capturing 4k at the same time! Fantastic! 40min flight edited to 20 mins. Low altitude visual approach with GPS guidance thru valleys, following those nice night lights.
  18. I thought I'd share this video. Can you guess what the problem was?
  19. 15 videos in and I'm ALMOST done. Just looking for some water runways to finish with. Any ideas?
  20. This was just a warm up for my massive New Zealand Tour coming up next...
  21. T-6's over PNW. Make sure 1080p60 is selected for best quality.
  22. To celebrate FSFiles coming back online (thanks, Jay!!!), here's just the one - NZ1078 near NZWR (Whangarei): I've said it many times before, but don't mind repeating: ORBX FTX NZNI (and NZSI) are absolutely stunning. Pure New Zealand - captured so perfectly - with so much *atmosphere*. Adam.
  23. Were Off... Have a Great Weekend Chaps.......
