  1. Just various shots with the great new Spitfire (Flights over Alaska Bella Colla, Stewart ... Washigton PNW S93... ) Happy that it is possible to use with the new A2A Spitfire for P3D4 the old skins of the WOP3 Spitifire available on avsim ... e.g. a great one in "dark grey" by Steve Landau : Spitfire Mk IIb texture BM144 ... (maybe not as beautiful as the Sniper31's Black Eagle ... but this one is easy to find ) 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 AND ALSO TO REMIND that P-40 is also a very beautiful one (flying over Stewart & Sekiu PNW) ! 18 (NB : of course that's the place of the wonderful Jack's shot from the last contest !!) 19 20 AND TO END ... some Kangoos that I was so happy to find at Wilpena Pound after the setup of OZx3.0 inside P3d4 - it works (the idea came from a view of beautiful shots at that place by Martyn - thanks to you Martyn !) 21 on this side ? 22 not ! on the other side !! (PS : for me it was a very great discover because I 've been hiking exactly at that place a few days... and many times watching close the kangoos... Well it was about 25 years ago ... travelling with my girlfriend (at present my wife) with rucksacks and so (tent...) ... after our studies and before to have kids ... years passing ... teenagers who will be able to do the same kind of travel in a few years !) NB : the real place is much more "orange" almost like in Alice Springs

  9. First flight in my new Bonanza. I've got no GPS, I'm flying the needles and it's mostly IMC on a short hop from Bremerton Natl PWT to Skagit KBVS in the Pacific NW. My routing was a radar vector onto V165 to ISLND, then from there I shot the NDB Ry 11 at KBVS with a circle to land to Ry 4. The whole thing was tricky due to a monster ssw wind (it was lovely aloft - had a ground speed of 202!!)... Here are A2A WOP3 old warbirds which are all flying into P3D4-2 : over Mt Renier Washington, over Nanthuket, and Australia NB : The amazing skins are from T.Weiss (Lockonsite) WOP3 Mustang Civilian and great cockpit with amazing sun light effects... WOP3 P47 over Australia near Caloudra over Catalina WOP3 P40 over Nantuket WOP3 Spitifire at Swanson 2W3 and over Australia...but engine trouble not solved uptonow (the hangar maintenance do not accept repairs for,this WOP3 bird into P34d4-2 !) and A2A Pipercub (basic version without the accusim addon) over Nantucket So all of these wonderful planes were possible to get into P3D4-2 despite their restriction to fsx use from the installer : just install the plane into an empty fsx file (not exactly empty : containing only fsx.exe) and copy the created files (A2A/effects/gauges/fonts/simobject) into P3d4-2 and so ... go and fly NB : I put other views of P47 - P40 and Pipercub at the end of my previous post... And finally AH Spitfire ... (waiting WOP3 Spitfire could fly without engine trouble...) HAPPY FLYING :-)

  12. Experimented some more with P3D the last days (who needs sleep anyway ) but taking screens with Reshade didn´t really work out. Got it fixed yesterday added the L-049 and LOWI into my FS shopping spree and took the old lady straight up to visit LOWI. EDDS, early spring day, weather looks promising. Climbing out. She truly is the queen of the skies. Went back for a sneaky shot of the office. And here we go, into the mountains on descend, ILS approach. First sight of the runway, lined up quite fine. Home stretch. And parked, Betty seing out the passengers. (Had to make up for my landing... flared to early, wasn´t pretty) Was a nice flight. Got to do it in bad weather at night next time, that should be quite fun. Do they do night operations at Innsbruck at all?
  13. Lightning at Dawn! - St Gallen Altenrhein (LSZR) To Innsbruck (LOWI) Very efficient coding all around here guys! This much detail (FSX maxed out except water) at a smooth frame rate with a complex aircraft (A2A Mustang) in BUSY weather (AS2016) running at 4k res AND capturing 4k at the same time! Fantastic! 40min flight edited to 20 mins. Low altitude visual approach with GPS guidance thru valleys, following those nice night lights.

  18. To celebrate FSFiles coming back online (thanks, Jay!!!), here's just the one - NZ1078 near NZWR (Whangarei): I've said it many times before, but don't mind repeating: ORBX FTX NZNI (and NZSI) are absolutely stunning. Pure New Zealand - captured so perfectly - with so much *atmosphere*. Adam.

  20. A couple of W.I.P. shots for an A2A T-6 repaint (coming soon!). NZ1078 from the "Roaring 40s" NZ Warbirds display team - with Heidi going through the routine, testing the smoke generator. A2A have certainly nailed it with this one. A beautifully rendered aircraft - with an easy to use/sensible paintkit that will ensure these Texans appear in all sorts of liveries. When I've finished tweaking, I'll post the file link here. Adam.

  22. Like the DC-3 and C-130, the T-6 Texan (or Harvard) just "looks right" - from any angle. Such an iconic aircraft - and another masterpiece from A2A. Wrong aircraft - but correct location (NZAR)! Ian Warren's "Gate Guardian" gets off its pole and flies! We have a fair few Harvards flying from Ardmore (NZ), so I'll have to rummage through my photo collection to see which NZ Warbird(s) I can lash up repaints for. Ian Warren beat me to it - with his Wigram gate guardian (NZ1050) and Jankees is looking like doing a complete squadron (LOL) ... so I'd better get a move on! Adam.
