  1. Been away for a little bit, and was longing for some old-fashioned PNW beauty. Mission accomplished.
  2. This was my first circuit around Agua Dulce, and I must say to the devs...YOU GUYS F'N NAILED IT! My wife grew up on a ranch in Agua Dulce, and she vouches for the accuracy. That was good enough for me, but it just looks gorgeous during a flight. I wasn't even going to purchase this airfield, but boy am I glad I did. Enjoy...
  3. A couple of scenic flights here in Australia with scenery from the OZx site. The first flight is at Kargoolie in Western Australia. The Fimiston Open Pit gold mine is the largest open cut in Australia. It is also known as the Super Pit. 3.5km long by 1.5km wide and 570metres deep it produces 28 tonnes of gold each year. 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. The second flight is from Merimbula on the Sapphire Coast of SE NSW. Merimbula is a great tourist resort with sandy beaches and also produces Rock and Flat Oysters. 6. 7. 8. 9. 10.
  4. Hi guys, today I had a very pleasant flight in Northern Germany in the C172 by A2A. I started in Muenster Osnabrück (EDDG) followed the highway A1, then the A29 til Wilhelmshaven, headed west over the isles and back to Wilhelmshaven following the coast. Afterwards I headed for Helgoland where I landed. Active Sky next gave me real weather and I was lucky to have sunshine all the way. Here are some impressions. Headset CHECK, sunglasses CHECK, sweet company CHECK Somewhere north of Osnabrueck, I think many of this objects are placed by German Landmarks Oldenburg Again Oldenburg. Luckily she didnt notice the blue yellow building below. Otherwise I would have landed on their parking area (I think this is also placed by German Landmarks) This is why it is also that windy here. And Juist It was an awesome flight I really enjoyed. OpenLC is really great.
  5. Hey guys, luckily I had some spare time this weekend and while my girlfriend is at the sea in RL I decided to go there virtually. I use OpenLC along with Global and Vector and the DEX Landndmarks which adds pretty much landmarks and so on for Northern Germany. I started in EDDG Münster Osnabrück which is approximately 30 km north from where I am living. I followed the highways to Hannover and landed there. This morning I started there towards Bremen afterwards proceeding to Bremerhaven, Wilhelmshaven and then to Helgoland. Here are some impressions. EDDG Just some ground textures showing a little city Porta Westphalica Somewhere just before reaching Hannover EDDV in Sight Next day just passed Bremen and following the Weser Wilhelmshaven I am pretty amazed by what I saw. I also had PlanG running on my second monitor and most towns, cities, forests and so on I saw there I could also find in my FSX. And it looks great now
  6. Screenshots from a winter afternoon flight from Spokane to Bonners Ferry.
  7. The two latest dents in my credit card: For some reason I find the B777-200 isn't quite as graceful as others in the family (737, 757, 767) but PMDG have done a simply superb job with it. Highly recommended! I'm not too keen on the ANZ livery that I grabbed from the PMDG site (the ANZ typeface looks wrong!) ... so I may do one of my own - fictional anyway, so I suppose it doesn't matter Near Coromandel, doing a l-o-n-g approach to NZAA R23L: Coromandel - northern tip, with Gt. Barrier Island in the distance: If I had to have only the one GA aircraft in my stable, the A2A C172 would have to be it. The A2A C172 ZK-TAQ will be revised as soon as I can get some better close-up pics (and hopefully blag a ride in it!). http://aussiex.org/forum/index.php?/files/file/4023-a2a-cessna-c172-zk-taq/ Adam.
