  1. Also bought this scenery today. The level of detail is quite impressive. A true gem.
  2. Hello, I have again problema in YBUD. Default scary buildings on grass runway. @Nick Cooper help
  3. Good Morning, Just enquiring if there is any chance of updating YBUD. It is very outdated and the whole terminal has changed completing since the completion of the YBUD airport scenery.Very keen for new scenery thanking you. Daniel Beck
  4. Hello, everyone. I see this. Installed Global, Vector (check "I have AU"), FTX AU, YBUD.
  5. I flew into YBUD for the first time today and noticed a windsock in the middle of the taxiway. Any ideas how to correct it? Thanks.
  6. Leaving Bundaberg we needed a slightly bigger plane, you know why. A short look at Burnett Heads, ... ... before turning south over the cane fields... ... towards Hervey Bay. Another good place for some short trips into nature.
  7. The money ends fast here on Hamilton Island, so I have to proceed southwards. Reaching the mainland over Mackay, ... ... just to see Hay Pt. Coal port, ... ...before making an intermediate stop at OZx´s Rockhampton. Climbout... ... and watching the industrial zones of Gladstone. Lots of chinese ships exporting Australian goods from here... ... but I focus on other beauties of Australian industry. At Bundaberg. Guess what?
  8. .. in our local supermarket was the inspiration for this flight: So I took off to look for the Ginger... ... but found only sugar cane. And even on the front door the Bundy works hide the special alcohol free product, they only promote the well-known one. After drinking I can say, not promoting the ginger brew is a good tactic. I´ll never buy it again...
  9. Finally got around to testing the Dak V3 (with an older paint) around Bundaberg. Very nice flight indeed More or less cropped DX10s Cheers Mallard
  10. As promised in the first part of this journey (http://www.orbxsystems.com/forum/topic/110377-east-coast-eco-inspection-part-12/) we needed to continue our sampling process and get the reports done. We stopped at One Tree Island - wondering at what time this misleading name may have been invented. There is not only more than one tree, there are also many other attractions around...: Hard to leave this place, but more water samples need to be collected. Heading southwards to the next part of Richards great scenery http://wwvecscen.blogspot.de/2015/05/lady-musgrave.html: Spread your wings... ... and the barbie is also prepared. We also have to take some samples here, liquid & solid (air might be a bit contaminated). Be aware while swimming. And don´t expect too much help from the ladies at Lady Musgrave. Lady Elliot Island, well explored already. An airstrip with an island around, a true simmers place. And here we are, getting all the samples to the Bundaberg laboratories. They are very experienced with liquids here, and the alcoholic extracts can also be seriously monitored.
  11. Yeah - parts of Queensland were battered by some severe weather (luckily nobody appears to have been seriously injured!). Anyway - it would appear that I got a bit caught up in it myself while taking the Catalina on a flight from Bundaberg Ooh! Lucky I wasn't heading in that direction Breaking through into clearer weather... I originaly had intended on flying all the way to Brisbane - but my right hand engine was giving me some trouble. So I thought I'd make for Maryborough and look for a mechanic... Cheers Mallard
  12. Had a transport from Bundaberg to Rockhampton Pulling up to the RFDS hangar at Rockhampton Departing for the flight back home Some mines and aluminium smelting slag lakes on the way back south Suddenly I got a call to divert to Lady Elliot Island where a tourist had overeaten on seafood which appartently did not agree with his stomach The runway is a bit on the short side, but with full flaps I just about made it Back over Bundy Cropped DX10s, Orbx & OZx scenery Cheers Mallard
  13. A flight with the Dash from Bundaberg to Brisbane. Nice coincidence, that the DC-3 appeared on the apron beside me Passing over Caloundra Cropped DX10s with my SweetFX Cheers Mallard
  14. I took advantage of the current discounts and purchased Bundaberg this afternoon. Enjoy and thanks for looking! FSX - DX10 - Shade
  15. First leg of the rum run back to Brisbane. Just a short hop to Hervey Bay... Warming the engines in the early morning sun: Passing over the rum distillery again: Now - where's the bloke with the fork-lift? Cheers Mallard
  16. A while back I flew the Brain & Brown C-47 from Brisbane to Caloundra. Now I got a phone call - could I take the gooney bird to Bundaberg? There were a few crates of rum waiting at the airport... Making a low fly-by over the rum distillery Cheers Mallard (bleedIN hEcK! Why can't one edit the titles. Should of course read rum run...)
  17. Heres legs 5-9 starting at YBUD then YHBA-YCDR-YBBN and finally YCFS. http://youtu.be/f-Sq8ZuwnyM
  18. A short flight in my preferred vintage monoplane at sunset on Australians coast in Queensland between Bundaberg(YBUD) and Hervey Bay(YHBA). I enjoyed the trip:
  19. It only took a few weeks, but I finally got around to installing my last three Australian payware-airports Tamworth, Port Macquarie and Bundaberg High above Tamworth and a bit lower at Tamworth Port Macquarie and Bundaberg Some cropping. Looks like everything went well Cheers Mallard
  20. First time out with this new darling of the FS community . My first impression is - WOW ! . Run , don't walk and put this in your Hanger ASAP . Thanks for viewing Brad
  21. Had time on my hands and a whole continent to choose from... Longreach to Bundaberg Photo-op fly-by Plenty of... well.. nothing really Barcaldine. Never heard of it before, but looks like it's worth a visit Yeah, right. A thunderstorm again. I think REX doesn't want me to go on long flights Almost through And again the clean-washed-air on the other side About 50 miles on it became hazy again Moura open pit coal mine View of the landscape Approaching and around Bundaberg Made it Parked RFDS in the background Some cropping, nothing else... Cheers Mallard
  22. Brisbane -> Bundaberg - in the Pink Ribbon Breast Cancer livrey... Departure Getting nearer Belly-view That road looks like a good place to to some plane-spotting from They do use Dashes for the flights to Bundaberg from Brisbane - but I have the sneaky suspicion they might choose the shorter versions... Cheers Mallard
  23. Finally got a more "gritty" sky. Loaded the Stormy Weather Theme in REX and changed the cloud textures to Cumulus 32. Fired up FSX, loaded the ORBX Weather 6 theme - edited it by taking out the rain and had a result I can live with Taxiing in the Lancair The lighting fitted - there were visible weather fronts and a few areas of clear blue sky Nice layers - PAX-view In between there were a few very local showers and then again "clearer" skies Hang on! We'll make it yet! Tied down - looks like there might be some fouler weather later on... All shots straight from the v-key, only cropped here and there. Cheers Mallard
