I left Bathurst in the morning... ... to reach the Great Dividing Range only a few minutes later. It just takes about 15 minutes to reach the Hunter Valley - ... ... do you see the blue balloon just next to Cessnock´s runway? Here you can see it better, though surrounded by reflections. In the evening I went on, after tasting the products that are made from these rape fields. A golf course with an airport. Very useful for a short flight. Maitland, just some miles north of Cess

This flight goes a bit off my real travel plan for next year. From Katoomba, ... ... turning west over Leura, ... ... and reaching the tablelands near Little Hartley. Do you see what flies drives under me? And the airstrip itself is also perfectly blended into FTX. Lithgow, without the ZigZag railway, but with a PNG-like airstrip. Oh OZx team, what an outstanding work. Further to the west we reach the green plains... ... and Bathurst airport. Sometimes the trainspotter has bad

I thought it was about time to install the SAAB340 again after a long break. Took the shortish flight from YSSY to Bathurst to admire the scenery on the way. 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6.

I was thrilled to find a repaint of Da Boz (VH-BOZ) for the A2A Mustang. So I originally had intended to fly it from Bathurst passing by Canberra to Illawara. But ASN foiled my plans... All looked fine as I was getting ready to depart. Heading further south is where I began to worry... Yeah - about 30 miles from Canberra I ended up flying over a completely covered ground. And without ILS... So I ended up aborting this flight on some nondescript default airstrip. Cropped DX10s Cheers Mallard PS - I WILL! complete this t

Just a heads up that YBTH Bathurst has just gone into the shop for a complete overhaul to support P3Dv2.x, it will be in the testers hands for a quick check as soon as I finish assembling the build P3Dv2.x: All sun-shadows removed from the airport photoreal to allow full P3Dv2.x dynamic shadowing All objects and assets modified to accept P3Dv2.x shadows P3D Altitude shift issue fixed... lengthy task.. Plus lots of other minor changes and tweaks FSX/FSX-SE/P3Dv1.4: Only some mostly unnoticeable changes/updates to the FSX/FSX-SE/P3Dv1.4 version If you hav

Doing my rounds at Mount Panorama, Bathurst... See? It says so right there on the hillside... Everything looks fine - so I might as well head back to the airport Kicking up some dust Later on: heading to a similar routine around the aboretum area at the western edge of Canberra Things check out here as well - so it's back to the airport. Getting a bit dark, as well... Cropped FSX DX10 with SweetFX pics Cheers Mallard PS - since I repeatedly get questions here (and via Messenger): I always run Sweet

Took two whirlybirds to the air - the first pics are from a flight from Canberra Hospital to the airport and the second set from the Bathurst Hospital (which has a landable helipad - you can see it in the left-hand corner of the pic under the tail) to Bathurst Regional My, those cows aren't phased by much... They just stood there looking at me passing by. Cheers Mallard

I've been playing with the size of the lights around Canberra Some stay large, some are smaller - I guess it has something to do with the airport itself and its settings The next day I thought I'd take a hop to Bathurst, while I was in the area All pics just resized and cropped. No other editing whatsoever Cheers Mallard

Some competition for rex on the horizon? Trying the Brindabella J41 on a flight from Canberra to Bathurst... My mate in the background was firing up the engines at the same time as I was Somehow he got to the runway before me Finally! And we're off! Climbing out and making an ever so slight change in the course En route It really doesn't take long to get here... On the ramp - there were some irritated looks from the rex-guys when we asked to use their ground handling gear Landside view Airside view Chee
