  4. I have not done many flights in Western Australia. Decided to fly from Busselton to Jandakot in the plane of the moment, the Dash 8. 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. 7. 8. 9. 10. 11. 12. 13. 14. 15. 16. 17. Never flown along the coast here but there is some very interesting scenery along the way. No time to give a detailed description of each shot as I want to fly before bed time. Hope you enjoyed the set.

  6. G'day all, As many of you know, Graham Eccleston has been working very hard to get many of our Australian airports up to P3D2 compatibility for you all to enjoy alongside FTX_AU. I'd like to showcase a small set of shots with the latest three releases; Jandakot YPJT, Cunderdin YCUN and Busselton YBLN, all of which are located in south-west Western Australia. These airports were the first three that I made for ORBX, and given that they date back to late 2008/early 2009, I thought I'd offer a quick re-introduction for those that are newer members to the forum. After my bad weather experience in southern England yesterday (http://www.orbxsyste...at-the-seaside/), i switched scenery and visited Western Australia with a flight from Cunderdin to Busselton. The weather was great. Parking at Cunderdin Takeoff from Cunderdin On the way to Perth Perth with Swan River Along the coast to Busselton Busselton landing Parking at Busselton Enjoy and thanks for looking.

After getting to grips with the antialiasing (the graphics card was forcing its way and suppressing FSX's settings) I checked the results on a quick fly around Cunderdin Then I re-checked my cfg - and saw that the Buffer-Pool tweaks were gone. After re-setting these I tried the results during a flight from Busselton to Bunbury Over Bunbury Never been here before and was quite surprised with the amount of detail And I certainly haven't noticed the sun reflecting of the asphalt before So now I'm hoping and praying that the cfg will stay as i
  9. When I jumped into my Legacy on Tuesday evening I was surprised to find myself in a heavy thunderstorm. Great sound (sorry, can´t post it....), fantastic lightnings (no, I was not fortunate to capture a shot from these), and great views. Hope you can imagine a bit of these... Will repeat such weather flying, and I can recommend that!
  10. OK, so this is part two of my flight series from the weekend. I flew this one in the piston Beech Duke from Jandakot to Busselton in Western Australia, using real time weather from the REX Essential weather engine. The good thing is, being a local flight I could verify whether the weather engine was doing the weather well. Hmmm... too many W's there. On this flight, I let REX pick the weather textures for me based on the weather, rather than using my usual predefined set - I like the result a lot, and will be using this feature more often now.
