I mean, Bella Coola and Port Hardy, with a little lake excursion in between: Then heading up south, until the fjord gets smaller... ... and bigger again, towards Owikeno Lake: Machmell River joins... ... and the western end of the lake provides a nice airfield, Rivers Inlet: Heading directly towards Port Hardy, I do not even know how these mountains are called. Unfortunately the landing was quite foggy, that means challenging and unattractive. So no Screenies...
  3. After riding the White Pass train to Whitehorse (and fixing the airport elevation there) it is now time to head back southwards in order to catch a long-distance flight into the "global region". So I joined Air Canada from Whitehorse ... ... via Skagway ... ... to Juneau. A USAF commuter was the most suitable connection ... ... via Hoonah ... ... to Prince Rupert, where I was hired by some wealthy tourists to take them across the Inside Passage ... ... over Kitlope River ... ... the Kapella River Glaciers ... ... and the Kimsquit River Log station ... ... into a nice, but slightly foggy valley: It is Bella here, and cool. And it is the last in the series of my american June purchases which I had not been visiting yet!
  4. It was just a cloudy afternoon, when FedEx services from CYYJ to PAKT was starting out across Mt. Tuam, ... ... out of Victoria Intl.. We could already spot Ketchikan Airport, still being on the downwind approach to Rwy. 11. But turning into final, conditions became slightly worse... 5 miles out. Gear down, flaps full. Any runway? Keeping our fingers crossed the ILS works correct (which is not always the case in FSX... ) Trust pays off. There it is! Turning down this brilliant 3D-masterpiece of a taxiway! That looks promising, except the bumps in front of us (keeps the passengers awake - oh, err, there are none...)! Tied down. Now for a good salmon steak and a cold drink!
  5. Hi. Been flying out of PAHO Homer lately after reinstalling FSX and buying NA SAK. My FSX install so far only consisted of NA SAK and REX. Today I Installed NA PFJ + NA PFJ.003 and finally the latest ORBX libraries 130723. The sunken terrain appeared after this. I tried to move NA SAK on top of NA PFJ in the scenery library to see if that did the trick - but no luck. Pictures show how PAHO looks now and my scenery library. It should be noted that PAHO looked fine before I installed PFJ. Any help appreciated. Order numbers are all down in my signature.
  6. Hello All, Now that I received more regions. I am trying them out one by one. Now have PNW and PFJ installed, still need to Install NRM and CRM. Thought that I would run a patrol down the fjords from Stewart down to Vancouver to keep the waters safe from those pesky subs. Hope you like.

Yesterday I received my ordered package of NA-PFJ and airport CZST, so directly installed both and was curious for the result ---> looked great and hereby my first post of this location beginning with a static footwalk on the airport and followed by a first take-off in Maule at first daylight that I parked in the hangar overnight, enjoy the views and any comment is welcome:
  8. These are only a few of the altitude issues I noticed in this area, as well as artifact and fps problems not apparent in other ORBX scenery I use.
