After switching to FTXCv3 I did some basic test tours, the obvious one in Papua New Guinea was just an easy trip from Jacksons... ... climbing across the mountains near Isurava ... ... to Kokoda, dropping some spare parts for a broken lawn mower that was reported from here. But that report was a mistake, they needed the parts in Tapini! So here we go again... ... working hard to get over these ridges without burning the Twotters engines. Trust your pilot! Dropping down into Tapini (the Twotter is not easy to be slowed d

Welcome to Papua New Guinea! So we had to transport four people today, two needed to go to Kokoda, and the other two to Emo Mission. Since our C206 needed to be serviced, we took the faithful Skywagon. At company hangar at Jacksons Airport And off we go! Take off from Port Moresby A second before touchdown at Kokoda Field Entering the Emo Mission valley A quick look at the beautiful waterfall before making a sharp turn to the right to line up with the strip at Emo Mission Watch your speed, you don't want to bump all over the place! What a great scenery you guys have created here. A full size international airport only a short hop from Aussie and then change to a small plane for a fun flight up the Kokoda trail. RW weather made for some interesting landigs on some of the landing strips. Ground speed was down to 20 knots with a 35 knots headwind. I did bend a few Cessna's trying out all the strips. The Cessna used was a C182 Turbo. Strait V-keys, DX9 and no mods. FSX, REX essential OD and ASN for weather.
