G'day all, Dropping in a quick set from a nice long trans-Tasman flight I did over the weekend. The route took me from Melbourne International to Christchurch in New Zealand's South Island, and was my first ever International flight Weather was real for the day, hot and cloudy, and the aircraft is of course the superb 737 NGX from PMDG. ...V1....Rotate! ...aaaaaand here's Part II of my flight today. The flight from Brissy to Cairns was largely uneventful, and the weather had thickened up somewhat as the afternoon progressed. Descent into Cairns airspace through thick cloud was spectacular in the late afternoon light.
