  5. If i´m not "flying" over towns, fps with the 1.50b VULKAN are around 40 & 50. Active sky ON. Very satisfied.
  6. Testing Popham with XP11/Vulkan. What a wonderful airfield....
  7. For my screenshot prize - kindly donated by Orbx - I decided to add to my small but growing collection of XP11 scenery ... and chose NA Oregon, one of the newest releases. I don't think I've ever visited this area before (in-sim and certainly not in RL) so I had no idea what I was in for. I startedfrom Pearson Field as it was more ore less in the centre of the area. An early morning take-off - and a little muggy ... in the superb freeware Khamsin T-6: Above ground, things were looking better: Finally ... my favou
  8. With TrueEarth, beauty is everywhere. This is TE Florida SD.
  9. After my 2-week long struggle with P3Dv5, I jumped back into XP11 (and TEGB) - and was immediately rewarded by these shots: all taken within one 20-minute session. I think I'll let the pics speak for themselves! No extensive tweaking required ... and impossible to resist the instant thrill of a Spitfire! 'nuff said .... Adam.
  10. The Boeing 738 Max Freeware aircraft for XP11. I saw this on a social media page then went and got it. Looks and sounds well. If anyone is interested i will post a link (if that is allowed)? Seen here departing out of Orbx Edinburgh wit Orbx TE North. 96245513_1652473904957435_2391106347786567680_o by Philip Whitehead, on Flickr 96285056_1652474028290756_1406271983196307456_o by Philip Whitehead, on Flickr 95885626_1652474101624082_5520840400677371904_o by Philip Whitehead, on Flickr
  11. Getting my 737 for a ride over TE South California.
  12. For the first time ever, I decided to post ALL the screenshots I did in a flight. I spent only 30 minutes flying over TE South Cal, departing from San Diego, but my initial impression is that this is the most amazing TE region ever. I really love it. Congrats Orbx for this amazing achievement.
  13. Our most ambitious project to date sees us take the next step in bringing more of the X-Plane world to life with our TrueEarth range of products. TrueEarth US Northern California is the result of years of research and development as well as countless hours of crafting together one of the most stunning and diverse regions in North America. Take off from across the sprawling region and explore to your heart’s content with over 212,000 square kilometers of orthoimagery and accurately placed autogen. The wide-range of landscapes, detailed mountains and stunning coastlines will redefine
  14. From England, now I travel to Washington to look for cityscapes of this precious lovely small town, Eatonville. During these hard COVID times - in which I can't practice real photography -, I am enjoying very much this virtual photographic adventures on XP11 and P3D. As in real life, you need to think about angles, composition, framing, lines, perspectives, light and colors, lenses (wide, normal, telephoto) etc etc. These photographic techniques and challenges are all present in virtual photography.
  15. Now to TE GB Manchester. Disclaimer: this not a comprehensive exploration of the city's landmarks, but a small set of city scenes spotted while freely exploring the urban environment. Hope you like them!
