  1. Hi there, I just installed the new CEN4, version (routinely followed by a re-installation of the last libs). But now FTX central refuses to start, resulting in a windows error "a part of the path FSX/orbx/scripts/FTXcentral/regions" could not be found. What could be the problem? Thanks for support,
  2. Got a bunch here.... not all I took but picked ALL my favorites lol. There was just such a range of color(thanks to REX ESS OD textures), I couldn't just pick a few Leaving Golden Sun went down quick as I got to the chalet and glacier. After take off from the glacier. Headed for Jasper On Final at Jasper. Enough daylight hung with me.
  3. G'day Everyone, Thank you all for the wonderful feedback on my first batch of Felts Field screenshots; I'm delighted to showcase a second (and likely last from me) round of shots. This second batch focuses a little more on some of the details and points of interest outside of the airport perimeter - of note are the downtown and western approaches hotspots. You will also see the various seasonal variations you have come to expect from an ORBX product; Spokane is no different with a vibrant change depending on the time of year. Lastly, there has been some discussion about the art deco clock f
  4. Been a long time since I have posted any pictures here but here are a few with the SweetFX tweak that I posted about in the Tips &Tricks section.
  5. Sightseeing the mountains They looked nice to me, Hope you enjoy them Cheers
  6. Hi friends, I was wondering if somebody could post some screenshots from Lake Tyaughton. I see it's in the coverage area in the Google Earth file, but I kinda want to see how it specifically is rendered. Hopefully this isn't too much of a hassle for you guys. Here's a Google Maps link to the area. https://maps.google....n Lake&t=m&z=15 By the way Tyax Air flies a beaver DHC-2 out of this lake
  7. The textures around this small airport are amazing CAJ7 is in between CEN4 High River (Freeware) and CEJ4 Claresholm Industrial (also Freeware).
  8. Here's where I've been spending a bit of time the last few months. Exploring the wonderful new freebies in an ultralight. Got a kick out of looking up this valley which I later found out was actually a "Prairie" A recent thread on Revelstroke inspired me to fly the same. Never flown this area before. Got ambitious and headed east to land at Golden when I came across an amazing sight. Came right over Mount Sir Donald and the bottom dropped out into this valley near Rogers Pass. Looked right for even more jaw dropping. Circled around to try to get it all in one shot. No airports
  9. Washington coast, just above Astoria, KAST. Another coastie. PNW Montana, was going to replicate Wolter's flight, but the wife called me to dinner.
  10. My other hobby outside of camping out in front of a PC is photography. I love post processing and bringing out and highlighting the detail and beauty of a scene. It's all there naturally but when you change the focus of the scene to highlight the detail instead of having it blend in with everything else the pictures will pop to life.. So... That's just what I did with this trip.. No airplanes, no people, no birds.. Just the scenery - Northern Rocky Mountains edition
  11. National holyday in Italy. A great day for a VFR hop in NRM!
  12. Hurry! The detail of each single airport in NRM is astonishing.
  13. Early morning takeoff at Christchurch: Windfarm in NRM:
  14. Just a small triangle graphics glitch within NRM Montana, USA. Around S09? It might not be an error, and just the way FSX is designed.
  15. I feel quite like a tourist, I think I will need years to explore everything in NA regions. Ketchican: Annette Island, Yellow Hill below: Now this is a big glacier!
  16. Did a flight last week from Edmonton to Seattle for my VA and the scenery below was just amazing. The Spring season with green valleys and snowy peaks looks just beautiful and I hope you agree after watching these pictures. The Bush flying in this region is just amazing. Entering the Rocky Mountains from the big plains of Alberta. Winter on retreat. Mount Columbia, Alberta. Looking South towards Golden. Looking East. Kinbasket reservoir. Boeing 737-700 and below unloading at the gate in Seattle.
  17. Orbx scenery all the way from KMSO to KSEA and it looks fantastic while Spring is coming closer and Winter is loosing the grip in the Valleys and Coastal areas. Season change in Orbx scenery rocks - just awesome.
  18. We did a group flight up the Priest River in the NRM region and more of us found a "texture hole" at the same spot in the River. We also had some floating houses on the East side of the Airport.
  19. Here are a few screenshots from the Event we had yesterday November 20th on Gamespy and Teamspeak. Jeff Williams had made a fantastic Tour for us in the South part of the NA NRM region between Vancouver and Calgary. There was a good turnout for the Event and it was quite fun to see all the planes at the departure airport. It was a long flight all the way around and some of us had to bail out early unfortunately but I for sure will finish the flight in this gorgeous scenery. The default airports turned out to be very good because of the special Orbx treatment they have had. Some real pearls are
  20. Browsing through my FSX pictures for the past week of flying. Here are 10 shots directly from the V key. PS: I never edit my screenshots, only resize them. Deception Pass Bridge - AW109 Fall City Bowerman - 737NGX Bella Bella Hydro Plant - Prince Rupert - C185 Dean River, BC Between Bowerman and Astoria Centurion T210 Near Astoria
