  1. Thought I would have a change from flying around Tasmania and head for the mountains of Interlaken in the Swiss Alps. Just kidding, this Interlaken IS in Tasmania just over 30km from Waddamana. It is the next part of my tour of Tas landing at OZx airfields. 1. After a rest at the grand metrolopis of Wannamana it is time to take off into some threatening weather. 2.   2. The next sector in my round Tasmania jaunt is from Mount King William III heading east to Waddamana. The distance is just 45km but there is quite a change in the landscape.   4. I have been flying around Tasmania a fair bit recently visiting the OZx airports. My first flight was from Devonport to Claude Road a distance of just 30 km. 1. Off from Devonport which is a stock airport with not much detail. 2. Devonport and the Mersey River 3. Cannot see the ferry. 4. First view of the magnificent Mount Roland. 5.   5. Having never flown the ME109 from Justflight I thought it was about time to give it a go. Went to Hanmer Springs situated in New Zealand's picturesque South Island. 1. The most numerous fighter aircraft in history with 33984 being produced. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. 7. 8. The very narrow u/c cause no end of problems for the 109 on the ground.   6. It would have been 2009 when I was brought FSX for a present. I took my first flight from Queenstown and was amazed by things like moving traffic, boats and the mountains looked pretty good, FSX right.   8. Good to be able to fly around Cairns again thanks to the release of the triple installer.   9. So so glad to see Broome, Cairns and Queenstown released with the triple installer. Almost time for shut eye but before I turn in just one quick shot from Queenstown. Roll on the morning when I can install Broome and Cairns and fly from these 3 wonderful airports again. Many thanks team for the work involved making these 3 airports P3Dv2 compliant.

  14. It is just over 200km from Batticola to Colombo in the island of Sri Lanka. A flight going east to west in an E jet. 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. 7. 8. 9. 10. 11.
  15. Did this flight a week ago from Lijiang Sanyi to Dali, Yunnan Province in China. I won't try and describe the shots as most of the writing in Google Earth is in the local script, it is late I am tired after a long day and I have to get up at 3:30 for work tomorrow .

  19. Down to Gippsland in Victoria, an area which I spent a lot of time in many years ago. We shall fly from Latrobe Valley airport and head south to see what we can find. 1.   20. A long week end and the missus at work for 3 days it means plenty of flying OZx wonderful Torres Strait Islands is the location of this round about flight from Coconut to Sassie Island. 1.   21. So tomorrow is Australia Day when we all have roast lamb for dinner, paint our faces green and yellow, wave our Aussie flags and beat the English at Cricket!   22. Just hanging around YMML when I came across 2 planes from my favourite airlines parked side by side. 1. HS-TKC Thai 777-3D7 which I have flown on and 9V-SKL A380-841 have not travelled on this one but I know 2 of her sisters very well . 2. SQ is my first choice flying to Thailand but my wife HATES flying so we usually go with Thai which is still an excellent way to go.
  23. FS has taken a back seat of late due to going back to work. Evenings I have been watching some old Norman Wisdom films, one of my favourite comedians. Then I came across all 21 episodes of The Fall and Rise of Reginald Perrin on You Tube, cannot believe it took nearly 40 years to see this hilarious comedy series.   25. Feeling a bit thirsty I deicided to head over to Garaina , which is about 80 miles NW of Kokoda. I hear there is a tea plantation there so I thought I would check it out. 1.
