  1. 230 views and not one reply - a new record for deathly silences ... Don't worry mate "satire" is a big word - I think your effort is brilliant. Cheers from Oz where satire on TV is an artform and appreciated .... Alan
  2. It saddens me to think that nobody from the Diamond sponsor at the FlightSim Expo could share the following website with those like myself who are unable to attend ... https://pcflight.net/flightsimexpo/
  3. Press Release – For Immediate Release Toowong Australia and Havant United Kingdom - June 6th, 2017 Turbulent Designs To Publish Through Orbx Methinks JV's mind is elsewhere at the moment - maybe Las Vegas?
  4. "Orbx is the headline sponsor of Flight Sim Expo 2018 in Las Vegas and this year will see a dozen Orbx staff in attendance! Come and visit the fastest growing flight simulation event in the USA and see the latest Orbx beta products live at our booth. Orbx will also be showing exclusive new products for Aerofly FS 2 and X-Plane 11. You'll have the chance to hang out with key Orbx staff and developers including John Venema, Jarrad Marshall, Ed Correia, Holger Sandman, Ben McClintock, Tim Harris, Finn Hansen, Chris Clack, Bill Womack and more! This is an event not to be missed. " Any chance for the first time ever of making some recordings of keynote speakers which are actually audible? I'm sure there are thousands of enthusiasts like myself who would love to attend but are unable for whatever reason. Let's see if Orbx can be the first to do so ..... Cheers Alan

  7. The propeller detached about 19kms from Sydney airport which could mean any debris is located somewhere close to Gordon and Pymble in Sydney’s north shore or the Ku-ring-gai Chase national park. However, there are some reports it could have occurred earlier in the flight, placing debris over the city’s south west. The ATSB is deploying a team of three investigators with expertise in materials failure engineering, recorded flight data analysis, and human factors. In a statement, the ATSB said, “Over the next few days, investigators will examine the aircraft, interview the flight and cabin crew, collect maintenance records and recorded flight data. “The ATSB urges anyone who finds a piece of suspected aircraft debris NOT to handle it.” Rather, people should call local police or the ATSB on 1800 020 616.

  10. and I'll bet there's not a single scratch on that aircraft ....
  11. Scott Beautiful pictures and would be even better if one stayed on the screen long enough for me to focus on .... Contemplate the following and work on those editing techniques! Cheers mate Alan Definition Of: Swish Pan Movie Scripts Dicitonary A quick snap of the camera from one object to another. This high speed movement causes the image to go completely blurry. Imagine yourself in the center of a merry-go-round that's moving really really fast. Aside from making you totally dizzy, the world becomes a blur, swished out in the movement, like a giant and constant swish pan.
  12. if your Realism setting was thus, then I am in awe of your flying skills ...
  13. Can't go past the good old Aussie "she'll be right Mate!".... This covers all problems from the smallest to a total disaster ...
