  1. I have been flying with P3D v4 for some time and have lots of ORBX scenery. One of my favorite areas to fly has been in NW Washington state area. Concrete to Skagit and Anacortes and Orcas airports. I believe I have everything updated and finally have ORBX Central working for me. My problem is when flying in the area mentioned I have bad slow downs in my scenery and sometimes comes to a halt for 10 seconds or so like something is loading up. Please offer me any ideas for things to check for that might get me back to smooth flying. Or tell me other places to check that might help. Many tha
  2. You can mark mine as now working. After many hours of checking things out I was finally able to get ORBX Central working just fine and I am back into enjoying flying once again. Lazyeight
  3. Nick, I have been working hours trying to figure this out. I deleted Orbx Central and reinstalled several times. Once I was able to get it to run all the updates to scenery. I fired up P3D and took a flight. Then I closed it out, opened ORBX Central and set it on Global and everything looked on for a minute then started to cloud up and got the same message that the Worker failed to launch. Here is a copy of my AppData. Hopes this helps. Please let me know what else I can try. Sorry but this all seems to get very complicated. I had much trouble trying to find the Orbx Central log file. I hope t

  5. I will be interested in any replies you get. I tried to add some Misty Mooring scenery in with the insertion point and it got so messed up P3D would not open. I tried the repair and it said A communication error occurred when typing to perform this action. Sorry to chime in on your post but seems like we are having the same experience.
  6. Hi Rudi, Many thanks to you for the help you gave me in getting this up and running. Enjoyed our flight and look forward to more in the near future. Lazyeight
  7. Great stuff! Many thanks! RTMM just keeps getting better and better! You folks are the greatest.
  8. Hello Wolter. We have been missing having you here. Great to have you back. Lazyeight
  9. I am learning to use VfrFlight and enjoying it more and more. Thanks Dieter for introducing me to this program. I have been using it with multiplayer flights and FSCloud with P3D v3 and all work well together.
  10. Great scenery. Many thanks ORBX team. And freeware also. Fantastic. Really opens up a great area to fly in and explore.
  11. Many thanks fellows! P3D v3 has never worked so well. The ability to jump from one area to another without having to shut down the program, open FTX Central and make changes and then start up the program once more is extremely nice. With everything working so well and my scenery looking so good I have been flying in all my favorite spots just checking them out. It just keeps getting better and better! WOW!
  12. Tell Terry we are all pulling for him and hope he is back flying with us soon. Get well soon Terry! Lazyeight
  13. I will attend and am bringing one of my grandsons. Looking forward to being there. Hope to meet some of you fellows! Cheers!
  14. I failed to mention that I have used IDM for years and still use it all the time.
  15. Thanks Nick, I downloaded 7-zip and used it. Once again it took 5 tries downloading and opening Wales and then suddenly it worked. I will keep my fingers crossed that the next download goes smoother.
  16. This morning I was excited to see Scotland and Wales were available for P3D v3. So I tried to download Scotland from FSS. For about the first 10 downloads I kept getting the report that this file was corrupt. I would delete and download again for the same result. Then all of a sudden one worked and i was able to get Scotland installed. Then I tried Wales and keep getting the same corrupt file report. I have tried changing browsers from IE to Chrome to Foxfire and that does not seem to make any difference. I have downloaded many files from FSS for a long time and this corrupt problem has just s
  17. Count me in! Happy Birthday to a great fellow. Looking forward to many more fun hours flying together. Cheers! Lazyeight
  18. Trying to download some new scenery purchased from ORBX opened up the MediaFire page asking me to join and other items to download. I thought I had safely clicked on the spot for the download of my scenery and then a couple of items popped up saying they had now been downloaded and ready to install. I did not order them or want them. They are some addon stuff from MediaFire and not ORBX. I checked my IMD and it said there was an error in the download for my scenery. In all of the purchases I have made from FSS I have never had an experience like this. I am not sure what is going on. Any help w
  19. Congratulations to a fine fellow. Thanks for the many years of flying fun. Keep up the good work! Lazyeight
  20. Solved my problem by going to Options - settings - general - advanced animations and putting in a check mark there. This is something I thought I had checked before but this time there was no check mark there. After placing the check mark I checked out the Lancair and everything was showing properly. The strange thing is without that check mark all other planes were showing everything like they should. Maybe this setting was just for the Lancair only. Well, anyway it fixed this for me. Lazyeight
  21. Wolter, I had not seen your last post before I posted the one above. I did check on the Patch 1.30 and it is installed in FSX but I did not install it in P3D because there was no way to change the installation path to P3D that I could find. The patch only shows install to FSX and there was no way to edit that. Lazyeight
  22. This may be a clue. My Lancair in FSX was downloaded and installed a long time ago and the download and installation for Prepar3D was about a month ago. Maybe something has changed in the download recently. Lazyeight
  23. I am having the same problem in Prepar3D. See Prepar3D support Forum listed below. The Lancair works fine for me in FSX but I have the identical problem you have in P3D. Maybe someone can help us. Lazyeight
